Men's cosmetics brand "AXE" collaborates with "My Hero Academia"! A campaign to win goods will start on September 1!

AXE, a world-renowned fragrance brand, collaborates with popular TV anime "My Hero Academia. A campaign to win original goods will start on September 1, 2021 (Wed.).

AXE landed in Japan in March 2007 with the launch of "AXE Fragrance Body Spray. Since its launch, AXE has been expanding and leading the male fragrance market, mainly targeting men in their teens and twenties. With the brand message of "Find Your Magic" as its core, the brand is working as a brand that pushes everyone to unleash their own charm and individuality to the fullest and live their lives with confidence.

My Hero Academia" has a wide range of fans and is a very popular manga and TV anime. The story is about the main character "Deku Midoriya," who had no personality and lacked self-confidence, but inherits his "personality" from his idol, the No. 1 hero "All Might," and grows up to become the best hero he can be. The collaboration was realized because of the overlap between the worldview of this work and AXE's important brand message "Find Your Magic.

To commemorate this collaboration, two campaigns were launched. In the closed-type "PLUS AXE Campaign," original goods featuring a newly-drawn illustration exclusive to the collaboration will be given away based on the amount of money spent on AXE products. In the newly-drawn illustrations, the character colors of the works are linked to the fragrance image of the AXE Fragrance Body Spray: "Kilo (green) with an aqua green scent" for "Deku Midoriya," "Citrus (orange) with a fresh orange scent" for "Katsumi Bakugo," and "Ochako Reichi with a Sweet (pink) with a fruity floral scent," and so on.

The designers of the giveaways commented, "We wanted the poses of each of them to be like a burst of energy, as if they were popping out of a cloud of smoke, inspired by the scent of AXE, and the conceptual image of a person boosting their confidence and attractiveness with AXE and jumping out into a new self. The official AXE Twitter page also commented, "I am very happy to be able to show you this new image.

In addition, during the same period, the official AXE Twitter will also hold the "AXE x My Hero Academia Follow & Retweet Campaign," where five lucky winners will receive a smartwatch and AXE's original wristwatch display stand set by following AXE's official Twitter and retweeting the target tweet. The campaign will also include a free smartwatch and a set of display stands.
