TV anime "Saiyuki RELOAD -ZEROIN-" will start airing in January 2022. The second information on the main cast and the first PV were released.

The "Saiyuki" series by Kazuya Minekura is a fantasy road movie manga with a bold arrangement of the "Journey to the West" manga. The original comics have sold more than 25 million copies. The series has been a movement for more than 25 years with various media mixes such as TV animation, OVA, theater animation, and musicals.

The TV anime "Saiyuki RELOAD -ZEROIN-," which will be adapted from the popular "EVEN A WORM" episode, is scheduled to air in January 2022! In addition, the second main cast that will color the work along with Sanzo and his crew has been unveiled.

Koichi Tono will play the role of Hazel Grose, a bishop from the west who is the most important character in the "Even a Worm Arc," and Rikiya Koyama will play Gati Nenehawk, a.k.a. Gato, who works together with Hazel.
The familiar cast of the series will be back again this year with Hochu Otsuka as Sanzo Wailing and You Kenichi, a scientist who possesses the "Mutenkyo Sutra" and is also Ni Jianyi, a scientist on the Ushima King's side.

The DVD of "Saiyuki reading play -Nothig to give-", the second reading play held on August 29, 2021, will be released on December 22, 2021.

<Story
Once upon a time, humans and monsters coexisted in the peaceful world of Taogenkyo.
However, 500 years ago, the great demon "Gyumawang" was buried by the god of war, Prince Nataku, in the barking castle of the Jersey Kingdom, and some people have planned to resurrect him through the forbidden "synthesis of chemistry and sorcery".

The "negative ripples" caused by this "synthesis" spread throughout Momoyuan-go, and suddenly the yokai lost their ego, went berserk, and began attacking humans.
Aware of the seriousness of the situation, Guan Yin Bodhisattva, through the three Buddhist deities, orders Genjo Sanzo to go west with Sun Wukong, Sa Ganjiao, Inoha Kai, and others.
The four begin their journey to stop the "Ushimao" resuscitation experiment.

During their journey, they meet a mysterious alien from the west named Hazel Grose and her follower Gato.
Sanzo and his group happen to work together with Hazel and her followers, who use a mysterious technique to revive human beings by using the souls of monsters.

But then, Sanzo the Wailing, a man with whom they have a history, sneaks up on them...
