The production of the original TV anime "Gunsei no Fanfare" was announced on August 28, 2021 with a teaser PV broadcast on "BS Eleven Horse Racing Live". This work depicts the coming-of-age drama of boys who aim to become jockeys at a horse racing school, and is directed by Makoto Kato, who has attracted attention for his solid directing skills and ability to richly depict the emotions of the characters in works such as "Yattekimini naru" and "Lord Hermeroy II Case Files: Grace note. The characters are designed by Hiro Kanzaki, a popular illustrator who has worked on "Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai" (original illustration and anime character design). Music will be provided by Hiroyuki Sawano of "Shinkage no Kyojin" and "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" fame, adding to the excitement of the story.

Animation production will be handled by Lay-duce ("Raging Season Otome yo! and "Ai★Chu"), and will be presented with a visual expression created by daring to go to an actual horse racing school for interviews.

The main characters will be played by Shogo Yano as Yuu Arimura, Kanba Tsuchiya as Shun Kazanami, a boy who grew up on an island, and Natsuki Hanae as Grace Amane, from a prestigious British family. Expectations are high for the enthusiastic performances of these talented young voice actors.

In conjunction with the announcement of this information, three character visuals newly drawn by character designer Kanzaki Hiro were also released. The visuals show the individuality and charm of each character.

15 years old, from Tokyo. He is the center of the famous idol group "Mr. Doctor.
He has been active in the entertainment industry since he was a child, but was so moved by the first race he saw at a racetrack he visited on business that he took the entrance exam for horse racing school and enrolled. His stage name is Yuu Otonashi.

Shun Kazanami (CV: Kanba Tsuchiya)
15 years old, from the Izu Islands. Surrounded by nature and without television, she grew up listening to live horse racing on the radio.
Although she had never ridden a horse before entering a horse racing school, she has a natural sense of horsemanship. She is a carefree natural.

Amane Grace (CV: Natsuki Hanae)
She is 15 years old and from England. She is half English with an English father.
Her father is a former jockey and is now a well-known owner-breeder. He grew up in a wealthy family, and has been to a number of racing schools in various countries before coming to Japan.
