The third season of the TV anime "Mr. Takagi, the Master of Comedy" and the production of the movie "Mr. Takagi, the Master of Comedy" have been announced.

The popular manga series "Mr. Takagi the Teasing Teacher" is an adolescent comedy written by Soichiro Yamamoto and serialized in "Gessan" (Shogakukan), and has sold over 10 million copies. The story depicts the daily life of Nishikata, a boy who is teased by Ms. Takagi, a girl who sits next to him in junior high school, and who always tries to tease him back, but Ms. Takagi sees right through him.

The first TV anime season aired in January 2018, followed by the second season in July 2019, and was well received by many viewers who "grinned" at their interactions.

1) How do you feel about the decision to make a third season and a movie?
I feel like I am heading for my home on the other side of the mountain pass.
It's tough going over the mountain pass, but will I be able to overcome it all and return home with a refreshed feeling? That is my impression.

Takagi-san: The setting is Shodoshima, and in the third season, with the cooperation of the people of Shodoshima, the atmosphere of Shodoshima is depicted even more than before! I believe that the background art and other aspects are of excellent quality.
Although it is currently inconvenient to travel there, we hope that people will watch the anime "Karakajite no Takagi-san 3" and think about the area, and when a better time comes, they will visit Shodoshima for sightseeing in the holy land.

I'm working on it while imagining the connection between the first, second, and third seasons, and the days that Takagi-san and Nishikata have spent together.
