Musicians of the Net Generation are playing a big role! The official voting project "Which song is your favorite? 2021 Summer Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll" results are announced!

Akiba Research Institute held an official poll from August 12 to 26, 2021, titled "Which song is your favorite? Let us introduce the top 10.

The results are as follows

A total of 41 songs were entered in this year's poll. The top of the list was "Detective is already dead"by Hameari x jon-YAKITORY. OP theme "Koko ni Ikiteru" by Hameary and jon-YAKITORY. The collaboration of multi-creator Meari and composer jon-YAKITORY, a unit formed by the favorites of the Internet music era, took the top spot.

The fast-paced, faintly melancholy sound is matched by the delicate singing voice of Ms. Meari. The song is a perfect song to enliven the story that depicts the drama that takes two or three turns and the bond between the characters.
It is the undisputed top choice!

Second place went to "Baddest," sung by virtual idol Kaede Higuchi, the OP of "One Million Lives I'm Standing on" Season 2.

The song, which is her first tie-in with the company, opens with a gutsy scream. Many may have been taken aback by this.
From there, Higuchi's cool, rock diva-like vocals unfold over the aggressive band sound. It is cool without question!

A unique combination of a unique literary worldview and POP sound is the third-place winner, "101," the OP of "Honors Students at Magical High School,"by Pantasia of March.

The OP video, in which many heroines from the anime appear one after another and show off their talents, is just like an idol music video or a transforming heroine anime from Nichiasa! It can be said that this song is a happy marriage of a royal production and a song.
Incidentally, since Pantasia of March also used YouTube in its early days, the top three songs are either from the Internet or by artists who have a strong affinity with the Internet. This result is a symbol of the music scene in 2021.

Interestingly, the results were neatly divided into four places, with voice actors and ani-song artists in the top four and below.

In fourth place was "Love Live! Super Star!Super Star! True dreams. The song was sung by the school idol unit Liella!

The OP of the first season, "Rhapsody of the Blue Sky," was so wonderful that I was half expecting and half worried about what the second season would be like, but the song is a masterpiece that far surpasses such feelings.

Sixth place went to "Shiroi Suna no Aquatope" OP "Tayutaeta, Nanashiki" (Seven Colors).

The song is sung by ARCANA PROJECT, co-produced by Dear Stage and Lantis. The majestic and exhilarating song, reminiscent of the blue sky and sea of Okinawa where the anime takes place, is definitely a song you want to hear at a live performance.

The 7th to 9th place list was filled with a wide variety of songs that made us think, "Anime songs are so free.

Seventh place goes to "ABC Gymnastics" by"Uramichi Ojisan" sungby Mamoru Miyano and Mamoru Mizuki. The song is sung by Mamoru Miyano and Nana Mizuki, two of the best singers in the anime song industry.

It is amazing to see such a powerful tag-team singing with all their might and enjoyment! This song reminds us that "the real thing is always real, no matter what they do.

Eighth place went to "THE POLiCY" from"Idolish Seven Third BEAT! 1st Cool.

This song sung by IDOLiSH7, the voice actors who portray the characters in the show, is an EDM song that is a royal roadmap for male idol groups these days. When they sing a cool song with a good voice, everything becomes a masterpiece. You can fully enjoy the charm of such voice actors.

No. 9 was "Andante ni Koishite!" byangela, the OP of "Otome Game no Ruiseki Hagureta ni Villainous Daughter ni Tenshita Shita ... X" (I've Been Reincarnated as a Villainous Daughter with Only Flags of Ruin in Otome Games ... X)..

The sound based on Irish sound is serious and elegant to the last. The balance between the serious and elegant Irish-based sound and the interesting elements that pop up here and there in between is exquisite, and you can't help but say, "That's just what angela does! The sound matched perfectly with the world of the works, and once again we were impressed by a unit that has supported the animation industry for more than 20 years.

In tenth place were the rock band Nekkritookie 's rendition of "Kanojo mo Kanojo" and Yui Ogura 's "Fightin★Pose " from "Jahi-sama wa Kijiwakei! by rock band Nekkritookie and "Fightin★Pose" by Yui Ogura from "Jahi-sama wa Kujiberenai!

The twisted band sound of "Fufukonaize" is very interesting, giving it a modern rock feel, while the music video for "Fightin★Pose" features Yui Ogura's snappy dance moves, which are just adorable!
