Pre-orders for the Switch "Dragon Ball Z KAKAROT + New Awakening Set" DL version have begun! Gotenks & Vegito introduction play video released!

The Nintendo Switch "Dragon Ball Z KAKAROT + New Awakening Set" scheduled for release on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, became available for pre-order for the downloadable version today, Thursday, September 2. A play movie and campaign information have also arrived.

Dragon Ball Z KAKAROT" is an action RPG that allows players to experience "Son Goku (Kakarot)" in the world of "Dragon Ball Z".
The story of "Dragon Ball Z" is expressed with beautiful anime graphics that can only be found in this title, and the game recreates detailed scenes from the original anime that could not be depicted in previous Dragon Ball games, as well as scenes that have never been told.

Today on the Nintendo eShop, pre-orders for the standard edition of "Dragon Ball Z KAKAROT + New Awakening Set" and the Ultimate Edition (downloadable version only), which includes an additional scenario and ani-song & background music pack - Dragon Ball Z KAKAROT Selection - are now available. The pre-order of the downloadable version is now available.
If you pre-order and download the downloadable version in advance, you will be able to play the game from 0:00 a.m. on the release date.

In addition, a play movie introducing Gotenks & Vegetto has been released, and an RT campaign is underway to reward users of three titles including smartphone games.

Gotenks & Vegetto introductory play video released!

A play video introducing Gotenks and Vegetto, who will be implemented as playable characters in the Switch version ahead of the Switch version.

Vegetto & Gotenks, who were event-only playable in the PS4/Xbox One versions of the main game, will be playable at all times in this title. Enjoy the powerful battle scenes of these super-powerful warriors.

The sub-story required to make them playable will be opened after the main story is cleared.
The PS4/Xbox One versions will be released at a later date.

RT campaign for rewards in three Dragon Ball game titles!

To celebrate the release of "Dragon Ball Z KAKAROT + New Awakening Set" on Switch, a joint RT campaign with smartphone apps "Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle" and "Dragon Ball Legends" will be held from today.
According to the number of RTs of the campaign tweets sent out from the official "Dragon Ball" home-use account (@dbgame_official), splendid rewards will be given away for all three titles.

For every 10,000 RTs, 10 Dragon Balls, 10 Platinum Coins, and 200 Crystal of Time will be given away, so be sure to participate.
