Square Enix is planning to release "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" on October 26, 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, A new video was released.

Developed by Eidos-Montreal in cooperation with Marvel Entertainment, "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" combines a completely new and original story with exciting gameplay, The game is a single-player only third-person action-adventure game.

Based on the more than 50-year-old "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise, the game offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Players take on the role of Star-Lord as he and the other Guardians traverse the stars and confront the various challenges and dangers looming over the galaxy.

The scene shown is the first time the Guardians, led by Star-Lord, meet the monster collector "Lady Hellbender," leader of the Hellraisers and queen of Secnarf 9.

The Guardians' mission, which should end with a quick buck at ......, is the beginning of a great adventure that will determine the fate of the galaxy. The story is about a young girl who is a little too young to be a monster.

What is the unexpected side of the terrifying monster queen?
In this issue, it is revealed that Lady Hellbender may not be the exotic monster hunter the Guardians had imagined. In addition, it was also revealed that Lady Hellbender has a strong interest in one or more of the Guardians.

Darryl Purdy, Director of Cinematics and Animation at Eidos-Montreal, said, "Lady Hellbender is one of the most beloved characters in Marvel's comics, and we are very excited to bring her into the Guardians universe with the depth and We have tried to make sure that the characterization reflects that. In addition, every aspect of the game is infused with humor. This is also true with respect to Lady Hellbender, whose unexpected dynamic with a certain Destroyer will have users chuckling."

Finally, Darryl shared some behind-the-scenes stories about the game's creation. He said that group performance capture played a crucial role in bringing the overly individualistic characters to life. The cinematics for this large-scale original story, which changes depending on the player's choices, took about six hours to record.
