Arloi's epic story begins in a forbidden land where a mysterious new threat lurks.

This title is a sequel to "Horizon ZeroDawn" (hereinafter referred to as "the previous title"), which was released in 2017 and sold more than 10 million units worldwide, and is the latest in the long-awaited series.

In the distant future. The world of "Horizon" is struck by a great disaster, and mechanical beasts rule the land. In the forbidden land of the American West, where a mysterious new threat lurks, the epic story of the hero, Arloï, begins.
About six months after the previous installment, Arloi sets off on a journey to the American West to investigate a dangerous corrosion of unknown origin. In this vast land, Aroi encounters new tribes and even more terrifying mechanical beasts. To find a way to save life on Earth, Aroi, along with old friends and new, will venture into the frontier of the unknown and dangerous.

An open-world experience with new equipment, beautiful graphics, and a variety of action

One of the series' charms is its system that allows players to freely explore a vast and beautiful world. In this title, an underwater world has been added to the field, and players can swim freely by wearing a diving mask.
The "Focus" function has also evolved, allowing the user to not only examine the weaknesses of mechanical beasts, but also to highlight places on the field where they can be grabbed and to increase the range of mechanical beasts that can be overridden.
