The manga "Wind City Detective" is a manga work that is a legitimate sequel to "Masked Rider W (Double).
The title of the manga does not include "Masked Rider W" as it was intended to be a serialized work in a youth manga magazine, and it tells an adult story that involves people other than tokusatsu fans.

In addition to "buddy detectives" Shoutarou Hata and Phillip and other familiar members, a mysterious beautiful woman named "Tokime" joins the cast to depict the activities of Masked Rider W as he confronts new mysterious incidents that occur in the windy city of "Fuuto.

Yosuke Kabashima, character designer and chief animation director of "Uma Musume Pretty Derby," chief animation director of "Senki Zesshou Symphogear GX, AXZ, XV," and duel avatar designer and action director of "Accel World," will be the director of this work. Mr. Ayataka Tanemura, who worked on "Black Clover" as assistant director and director, will be deputy director, and Mr. Hidekazu Ebina, who worked on "Yu-Gi-Oh The Dark Side of Dimensions" and "Fate/Apocrypha" as character designer and chief animation director, will also work on "Ochidai The music will be provided by Sei Komatsubara, who has worked as a character designer and chief animation director on "The Heroic Tale of the Fallen Knight" and "Senkoku Knight Blood".

When I heard that "Masked Rider W" would be adapted into a manga as "Kazeto Tantei", I strongly thought and wished so. The "Masked Rider" series, including "Masked Rider W," has always saved me when I was in a tight spot in my life. That is why I really wanted to return the favor with my own hands. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to do so this time. I will do my best to produce the film based on my own love and passion for the work. I intend to deliver a work that recreates the atmosphere of "W" as it is. Please look forward to it!
