Original Animated Film "Shinzai Tsuki no Kodomo" Visual Revealed! Maaya Sakamoto and Miyu Irino also appear in the film!

This visual has been released from the original animated film "Children of the Divine Moon," which will be shown on October 8, 2021 (Fri.) throughout Japan.

October is called "Kanna-zuki" in many parts of Japan, but in Izumo it is called "Kamiarizuki". This film is an animated depiction of the people and their gods, the various regions and Izumo, and the value of "karma" that lies at the root of this island nation, based on the legend that the gods from all over Japan gather in Izumo to hold a meeting for the next year's karma.

Kanna is a young girl who has lost her mother and is unable to face her love of running. A rabbit (Shiro) and a boy (Yasha) appear to her and lead her on a journey to Izumo. The gears begin to turn. The girl's journey begins as she straddles the boundary between people and gods.

The main character, Kanna, is played by Ayamu Makita, who is also the star of the much-talked-about NHK morning television series "Okaeri Monet," and has the omnibus film "DIVOC-12" and the movie "99.9: The Movie" coming out soon.

Kanna's deceased mother, Yayoi Hayama, is played by Kou Shibasaki, her father, Norimasa Hayama, is played by Arata Iura, and the god who rules Izumo, to whom Kanna aspires, is played by Akira Kamiya.
Kanna's childhood is played by Chise Niitsu, her classmate Miki by Riko Nagase, Ebisu, the god dedicated to Matsue, by Chafu Hayashi, and the dragon god protecting Suwa, Nagano, by Wataru Takagi.

The people are played by actors and the gods by voice actors. The theme song, a song in the play, and the ending theme will be sung by singer-songwriter miwa.

This visual is released! The main character, Kanna, is running toward Izumo [movement]Ver.

Up until now, we have released key visuals featuring the beautiful scenery of Izumo, Shimane Prefecture, which is also the region of the film's subject matter, and a striking image of the Suwa god Ryujin, whom Kanna meets on her way to Izumo.

Compared to the previous "still" version, which showed the main character Kanna with a strong gaze, the new "moving" version of the visual shows Kanna running strongly.
Kanna used to love "running" just like her mother Yayoi, but after Yayoi's death, she is unable to face her love of running.

As in the copy of the film, "Running out of a Still Time, I Want to Believe in Myself Again," Kanna, whose time has stopped, courageously starts running again. The visuals are promising as Kanna faces the death of her mother and grows up through her journey from Tokyo to Izumo.

The film "Children of the Divine Moon" will be released on October 8 (Fri.) in Japan!
