Feature-length theatrical anime "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sustainable Warfare" opens in theaters for a limited time on Friday, November 12! The special report also features new characters!

The feature-length animated film "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sustainable War" will be released in theaters on November 12, 2021 (Friday). The main visual, special trailer, and information on Mubiticket have arrived.

Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045", the latest in the series, is the first full 3DCG animation in the history of "Ghost in the Shell". The film is double-directed by Kenji Kamiyama, who worked on the "Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C." series, and Shinji Aramaki, who worked on the "APPLESEED" series, and produced by Production I.G x SOLA DIGITAL ARTS.

Season 1 (12 episodes) will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix from April 2020. With its intense sci-fi action and original drama that foresaw the times, the series continues to attract new fans.

It has been announced that "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sustainable Warfare," a feature-length theatrical animation film, will be released in 20 theaters nationwide for two weeks starting on November 12, 2021 (Friday), adding new scenes and fully graded. The film was

The film will be directed by Michito Fujii, who has been active in live-action films such as "Newspaper Reporter" and "Yakuza and Family The Family," which won six Japan Academy Awards. Director Fujii commented, "Even those who have never seen the Ghost in the Shell series will enjoy this dense and rewarding film. He also commented, "Even those who have never seen the Ghost in the Shell series can enjoy the film.

As in season 1, millennium parade will sing the theme song. The full-size version of "Fly with me," which was also the opening theme song for Season 1, has been newly mixed into an atmospheric soundtrack just for this theatrical version.

The main visual was newly drawn by Ilya Kubushinobu, an up-and-coming illustrator with 1.98 million followers on Instagram and 500,000 followers on Twitter, who is attracting attention not only in Japan but around the world.

The main visual depicts the main character Motoko Kusanagi, a member of Public Security Section 9, the new character Pudding Ezaki, and Takashi Shimamura, a "post-human" who holds the key to the story, symbolizing the film.

A special trailer was also released for the first time. The film begins with the message "2045." In addition to the reassembled members of Public Security Section 9, Tachikoma, and Ezaki Pudding, Smith talks about the existence of a new enemy, "Post Human," and the appearance of the mysterious Takashi Shimamura, all of which will make you anxious to see the film. STORY:

The year is 2045. The world is plunged into "Sustainable War," a planned and sustainable war due to the occurrence of "simultaneous global default," an economic disaster that shocks all nations, and the explosive evolution of AI. In the near future, however, people have not yet reached the point of realizing the danger of extinction by AI on an everyday level.

Motoko Kusanagi, a cyborg with a full-body prosthesis, and Batou and other former members of Public Security Section 9 are serving as mercenaries on the west coast of the Americas, where civil wars and conflicts have ravaged the region and the ruins lie in ruins. For these women, who belonged to an offensive organization against cyber crimes and terrorism and boasted of their outstanding cyber and combat skills, this era is truly the springtime of their lives.
The unit led by Kusanagi is suddenly confronted by "post-humans," beings with astonishing intelligence and physical abilities. How were they born and what is their purpose? Amidst a whirlwind of intrigue amongst the major powers, the "Ghost in the Shell" is once again organized.

Michito Fujii
Born in 1986. He graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Film and New Media, and established the film collective "BABEL LABEL" in 2010. He made his debut with Kotaro Isaka's "Oh, Father! Father" based on a story by Kotaro Isaka. Newspaper Reporter" won six Japan Academy Awards, including three for best picture, as well as numerous other film awards. Other notable works include "Day and Night," "Uchu de ichiban akarui roo" and "Yakuza to Kazoku The Family.
