One of the world's largest anime song festivals, "Animelo Summer Live 2021 -COLORS-" was held at Saitama Super Arena from August 27 to 29, 2021. In this issue, we report on DAY2 held on August 28.
DAY2 featured performances by Asakika, Argonavis, GYROAXIA, angela, Hiroka Iguchi, Sayoshi Oishi, Maki Ohguro, Akari Kito, GRANRODEO, Minami Kuribayashi, Aina Suzuki, Airi Suzuki, Masayuki Suzuki, Starlight 99 Group, Nao Higashiyama, TrySail, halca, TrySail, halca, and others performed.
Evil God-chan descended on the second day of Anisama!
The introduction of the performing artists was made by the artists themselves with the phrase "What a colorful world! The introduction of the artists was performed by the artists themselves with the one phrase of "Omaenisama! Ore Anisama! The first time the artists were introduced, they were joined by legendary artists and musicians. It was nice to see legend Maki Ohguro, who was performing for the first time, happily joining in on this.
The opening song was "Kourenka," a collaboration between GRANRODEO and Minami Kuribayashi, allies of GRANRODEO, and considering the timing of this year's Anisama after the postponement of the 2020 event, the piece "Demon Slayer" as an anime that will go down in history was not to be missed.
KISHOW and KURIBAYASHI's vocals were brilliant as they stood side by side in crimson and black outfits, and KISHOW's free and unrestrained high notes were most pleasing. The rest of GRANRODEO remained on stage and played the oriental intro to "Jonetsu wa Mimemoriteru," the OP theme of the TV anime "Baki" Dai Suridai Saihen. e-ZUKA's overwhelming guitar solo roared and KI-SHOW's vocals gradually increased the tension like waves repeatedly hitting the stage. KI-SHOW's vocals gradually increased the tension as if waves were hitting repeatedly.
During the MC, KISHOW said, "I know times are tough and I have a lot to say, but I hope I can say it all through my music. I believe it is wonderful that we have made it this far. I'm glad you all came. Let's make Anisama as exciting as last year's!" They turned the venue crimson with "Setsuna no Ai (Love of Setsuna)", one of the synonyms of GRANRODEO. The two looked so cool and picturesque as they jumped in unison with the audience.
On the stage of GYROAXIA, the logo of "Distiny Rock Festival (DRF)," a large-scale rock festival to be held in Hokkaido (in the works of "Argonavis from BanG Dream!") and the introduction of the next artists were first displayed on the screen.
This was a production that, for this moment only, overlapped the big stage of DRF and Anisama. The effects of the cheers from the world of the artwork echoed through the real venue. The guitar solo that dazzled the audience was followed by "MANIFESTO," a declaration of war from the band to the world of Anisama. The lyric video-like images in the background and Hitoshi Ogasawara's vocals were a strong message to the audience.
The song "LIAR" was a performance that cut through the space and conveyed the pain. Having shown their world and the stature of a champion, GYROAXIA hit the stage with only a moment of singing and exited the stage with a hawkish wave of their hands. The audience responded to the vivid afterglow that was left behind with unceasing enthusiastic applause.
Suddenly, a Japanese melody was played and bright red autumn leaves appeared on the screen. Aina Suzuki sang a cover of "Wataratsukibashi: Kimi wo Soufu," the theme song of the movie "Detective Conan: Karakohi no Koiga. Her soft and elegant voice conveys the high foundation and stability of her singing. After she finished singing, Ms. Suzuki, who showed her cheerful and friendly face, commented, "I prayed that everyone would return to Anisama as usual, even though I couldn't see everyone as much as I wanted to because of the Corona disaster.
I will sing with all my heart," she declared. "Hikariiro no uta," the ED theme of the TV animation "Hatena☆Illusion," was sung in a glittering, up-tempo style. White lights twinkled and the audience clapped to the beat. As the song was folded out and the singing voice and expression became more luminous, the slow and steady pace of the song was impressive, directly followed by an exhale of "fufu" in a pause before the powerful singing.
Along with images from the TV anime "Battle in 5 Seconds after Meeting," Akari Kito performed "No Continue," the OP theme of the same work. She showed the depth of her nostalgia by diving deep into the world of the song and the work. She looked around the venue. The next song, "Tiny Light," was a song she had always wanted to perform at Anisama. As she began to sing in her gentle and clear voice, her voice gradually became more powerful amidst the smoke. It was a live performance that seemed to accompany the song, and her voice shone more brightly along with the song.
During Yuka Iguchi's "over and over," a special message was delivered by Hestia (CV: Inori Minase) from the labyrinth city Orario from the TV anime "It's Wrong to Ask to Meet in a Dungeon. Hestia called for people to turn their penlights yellow and declared, "I'll be cheering for Yukachi with you! she declared.
In response to the divine oracle, a whole yellow color awaited the audience, and Ms. Iguchi appeared on stage in a yellow dress. She sang a magnificent song with great power, yet her familiarity somehow overlapped with Hestia, who gave a message to the audience.
Speaking of Anisama, it is a festival of animation songs, and a festival is ......," said Iguchi, who performed "Shirogane Disco," the OP theme of the TV anime "Nisemonogatari" with the Anisama Dancers. Wearing a happi coat herself, Ms. Inokuchi shouted "Haaadokko! and "Disko! She also made her voice "Disko!
Next up was halca-san, who performed "Kimi ga ita shirushi", the ED theme of the TV anime "Boruto: Bolt - Naruto Next Generations". After drawing the audience's attention to the stage with her warped guitar, she quickly involved the audience in her world with her singing voice as if she was pounding her heart out.
After finishing the song, she said briskly, "I have been dreaming of performing at the main venue of Anisama for a long time. Thank you so much for today! Then, they showed their range of expression with a skit in which they summoned Aina Suzuki, aka "Evil God-chan," from a red book they found on the stage.
Halca and Aina Suzuki sang together "Tokitoki to toki de violence," the OP theme of the TV anime "Jyakami-chan Drop Kick.
We're going to sing together! Suzuki's voice, which was full of Evil Goddess-chan-like characteristics, was a perfect fit for Halca's singing! The audience responded to the two's transcendental oriented singing by shaking the green light.
At the end, Evil God-chan faded out, appealing to the audience, "Give it back to the demon world! The stage was full of comical and entertaining performances.
As if a gust of wind blew away the afterglow of the Evil God Theater, Argonavis appeared on the center stage with their band set.
Masahiro Ito, who sang the first verse of "Hoshi ga Hajimaru" (The Stars Are Beginning), greeted the audience with a refreshing "Good evening everyone, Argonavis here! The main screen showed the animation. As the video of the anime performance was projected on the main screen, Mr. Ito jumped, turned, and ran around with his hands outstretched, spreading the action all over the stage.
It's an amazing view," she said. I'm so happy to be able to sing on such a stage," said Ito, expressing his gratitude for appearing at Anisama as Ren Nanasei, and then Nayuta Asahi (Hitoshi Ogasawara) of GYROAXIA appeared on stage. As if interrupting Ren's words, Nayuta asked, "Are you ready for this? Ren nodded his head in agreement.
The twin vocalists sang "Starting Over" on stage at Anisama. It was not only a reenactment of a famous scene from the TV anime, but also a serious competition between the two in black and white, each of them slamming their vocals and the band's appeal to the Anisama audience.
Summer cicadas chirped at the venue. In the mysterious air, Asaka performed "I believe what you said," the OP theme of the TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Industry. Asakka has a strong image as an exhilarating singer, her hard-hitting singing, which was in line with the dark world of the work, showed a new frontier for her.
After she sang, it was revealed that her earpiece was broken, but she was able to communicate with the audience during the adjustment time, which is one of her positive qualities. Talking about the joy of performing the first half of her favorite Anisama and the fact that she had finished the treatment for the vocal polyp she regretted at Anisama two years ago, she said, "Don't you all want to go camping? She sang "Seize The Day," the OP theme song of the TV anime "Yuru Can△ SEASON 2" as she rode around the venue on a trolley.
On stage, the Anisama Dancers performed a camping-themed performance.
And here, "We're still going to camp loosely, we're inviting our friends! Nao Higashiyama, who plays Shima Rin in "Yuru Can△," called out to the audience!
The camp dancers were lined up in a row, creating a somewhat musical atmosphere. The camp dancers were also lined up, creating a somewhat musical atmosphere. The a cappella-like part with hand clapping in the background was especially impressive! Anisama is the best!" The first half of the show ended with the words, "Take a break!
