New color "Midnight Black" for PS5 and PULSE 3D Wireless Headset! Available from October 28, 2021

A new color variation of the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset for PS5, "Midnight Black," will be released in Japan on October 28, 2021. Pre-orders are starting today, Thursday, September 16, at PS5 retailers and e-commerce sites nationwide.

The PULSE 3D Wireless Headset is a headset tuned for the PS5's 3D audio (*1), and the PS5's Tempest 3D audio technology allows the player to experience an amazing sense of presence with sound that surrounds the player as well as above and below. The Tempest 3D audio technology in the PS5 allows the player to experience an amazing sense of presence.

The sophisticated design of the product features a noise canceling function with dual microphones and is compatible with USB Type-C charging. In addition, by interfacing with the PS5 console, users can seamlessly and wirelessly enjoy adjusting the audio mix and checking the headset's battery level.

The 3D audio experience can also be enjoyed with other PS5 software titles, such as the current release "Ratchet & Clank: Parallel Trouble" and the upcoming "Horizon Forbidden West.
