TV anime "Deaimon" character drawings unveiled! Official site also opened!

The first anime visual and character setting drawings from the TV anime "Deaimon" scheduled to air in 2022 have been released.

Deaimon" (written by Rin Asano) is a popular manga that began serialization in "Young Ace" in 2016. Set in Kyoto, it depicts a heartwarming bonding story in which "wagashi (Japanese confectionery) connects people.

Nagomu Nono moves to Tokyo to pursue his dream, but when his father is hospitalized, he decides to take over his family's confectionery shop, Midorimatsu. However, a girl named Kazuka Yukihira, a potential successor and the store's signboard girl, is working at the store while staying with the Nouno family.
Kazu is entrusted to take Kazuka's place as a parent, but she is cold toward him because he once refused to be her heir. As they work together, they come to know a different side of her...

The first animated visual and character drawings of Kazu Nohno and Kazumasa Yukihira from the TV anime "Deaimon" have been released. The official website has also been opened.

The main characters, Kazu Nono and Kazuka Yukihira, are seen walking side by side on the cobblestone streets of Kyoto under the dancing cherry blossoms. Kazuka, who usually acts coldly toward Kazu, looks relaxed in the calmness of spring, and the distance between the two is interesting.

Kazu Nouno (CV: Nobunaga Shimazaki)
He came to Tokyo with dreams of becoming a musician, but decided to take over his family's green pine tree business.
He works as an apprentice while loving Japanese sweets.
He is a good-natured guy who gets by on his own enthusiasm and energy.

Kazuka Yukihira (CV: Kozue Yuki)
She is the signboard girl of Midorimatsu, who lives with the Nohno family.
She is recognized by Kazu's father as the official heir to the family because of her work ethic.
She sees Kazu's sudden return as a rival.
