Anime "Jutsu Kaisen" x Sanrio Characters to collaborate!

The first collaboration between the TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" and Sanrio Characters has been decided.

The popular comic "Jujutsu Kaisen" (written by Akutomi Shimoda) is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and has sold more than 50 million copies (as of June 4, 2021). The TV anime series based on the comic has been airing since October 2, 2020, and has earned the highest viewer rating in the MBS/TBS late-night anime slot in history, continuing to create a huge movement for both the original story and the anime.

The first "Jujutsu Kaisen" movie, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie," will be released on December 24 (Fri.), an important date for fans.

The cute collaboration visuals depict situations such as "eating and walking" and "strolling.

Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga work by Akutomi Shimoji, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine.
The series, which began serialization in March 2018, depicts the struggle between a curse born from human negative emotions and a sorcerer who exorcises it through sorcery.
The TV anime was broadcast from October 2020 to March 2021 on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS affiliate, and although it was a late-night anime slot, it garnered high viewer ratings. The series also created a huge movement, ranking first in the weekly viewer rankings of all subscription-based video distribution services for about two months. (According to the GEM Ranking Club, a survey was conducted every Saturday from January 23, 2021 to March 20, 2021 on the past week's viewing.)
