Riruru Pingu Drum" is an original anime work directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara that began airing on TV in July 2011.
The attractive character design based on Lily Hoshino's original idea and the mysterious and serious storyline that develops around the mystery of "Pingu Drum" amidst a lot of comical dialogues attracted a lot of attention.

This July 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the anime's broadcast, and a commemorative project is underway.
The crowdfunding campaign for the movie version to be released in 2022 reached its goal in 150 seconds, and the TV rebroadcast, collaboration café, and other events have been very exciting.
