You will be able to play NINTENDO 64 and Mega Drive on Nintendo Switch! New plan "Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack" starts in late October!

New information about the "Nintendo Switch Online" online service was announced at the "Nintendo Direct 2021.9.24" broadcast on September 24, 2021 at 7:00 am.

The new information announced this time is "Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack". The new plan, which adds an additional pack to the existing fee plan, will be available from the end of October.

With the additional pack, users will be able to play games from Nintendo's "NINTENDO64" game hardware released in 1996 and Sega's "Mega Drive" game hardware released in 1989.

During the program, it was announced that popular titles such as "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" and "F-Zero X" are scheduled to be distributed in the future, and that "NINTENDO64" titles will be available for simultaneous play by up to four people both locally and online.

It was also announced that the "NINTENDO64 Controller" and "Sega Mega Drive Fighting Pad 6B" will be available as limited items for "Nintendo Switch Online" subscribers. Each is priced at 5,478 yen (tax included).

Users who are already subscribed to another plan can also switch to "Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack". The specific price and details will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned.
