According to comments jointly released by ufotable, Aniplex, and Shueisha, in order for more people to enjoy "Demon Slayer," the "Tanjiro Kamado Tatsushi Arc," the "Youkaku Arc," and the "Infinity Train Arc," which is an episode that connects to each of these, will be connected in the form of a TV anime. The TV anime version of the "Mugen Train Arc" will be re-edited into seven episodes and broadcast.

The first episode of the TV anime version of "Mugen Train Arc" is a completely new episode that depicts the mission of Kyozuro Purgatory on his way to the Mugen Train after leaving the Onigiritai headquarters.
