New information and the latest video from the Nintendo Switch software "Pokémon Legends Arceus," scheduled for release on January 28, 2022, have arrived.

Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus" is a fusion of "action" and "RPG" that challenges the expression of the new "Pokémon" series. Set in the Shin'ou region, the film depicts a time that is even more distant than that of "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl". Capture the Pokémon that inhabit this region, and conduct research to complete the Pokémon Pictorial Book.

Pokémon LEGENDS Arceus" Part 1: The King and Queen

In the Jade Region, where the story takes place, special Pokémon with mysterious blessings live. There are various kinds of Pokémon, and some of them are called "King" and "Queen," which are very powerful Pokémon and are said to help people.
The "King" and "Queen" are usually respected by the people, but there is a phenomenon in which they suddenly go out of control, and the main character, as a member of the "Ginga-dan" investigative team, takes on the task of quelling the situation. This battle will test your abilities in both action and Pokémon battle. The battle will test your skills in both action and Pokémon battle, and you will have to make full use of each to subdue the rampaging Pokémon.

How to calm down a Pokémon that is out of control
It seems that you cannot stop a Pokémon that has gone out of control simply by defeating it in a Pokémon battle. An effective way is to hit the Pokémon with "ShizmeDama," a Pokémon mixed with its favorite food.

Throw "Shizumedama" while avoiding attacks!
The fish will go on a violent rampage and unleash a series of powerful attacks on the protagonist. Watch out for the type and timing of their attacks, and look for an opportunity to avoid them.
Aim firmly, just like throwing a monster ball, and you will be more likely to hit the target.

Create opportunities in Pokémon battles.
Take advantage of an opening and counterattack in a Pokémon battle. Throw a Monster Ball containing your Pokémon to start a battle.
If you can defeat this very powerful Pokémon, it will temporarily disorient you, making it easier for you to hit it with a "Shizumedama," and you can quickly create a favorable situation.

■Basagiri, a new Pokémon that can be encountered in the Jade Region
Basagiri is an evolved form of Strike that has been affected by a special ore found in the Jade Region. Part of its body has changed to look like a rock.

The rocky part is often chipped off in fierce battles, and the more experienced Basagiri is, the bigger the chip is. However, the chipped part conversely becomes sharper and more cutting.
It is said that the people of the Jade Region used the chipped pieces as stone tools. In "The Black Day Field," it appears as a king.

Captains" protect special Pokémon

The people of the Jade Region consider Pokémon that have received magical blessings to be very important, and they pay their respects to them. The "captains" are in charge of taking care of these Pokémon.
The "captains" are responsible for protecting the special Pokémon by keeping their territory from being disturbed and sometimes providing them with food and water.

The first captain the protagonist meets in his adventures. He takes care of the special Ayashishis that inhabit the "Black Day Wilderness. He and his partner, Gombe, grew up together like siblings.

Kikui
Captain Kikui takes care of Basagiri, the king of the Black Day Wilderness. He is still young but extremely talented and is entrusted with the role of captain. He admires the strong and cool Basagiri.

A captain who lives near the coast and takes care of a special idaitou. He is reclusive and shy, but has a kind heart. He has a slightly timid side and seems to have difficulty with Ghost-type Pokémon.

Hinatsu
Captain Hinatsu has a cheerful personality. As captain, he has a stronger sense of responsibility than anyone else, but because of this, he sometimes seems to be left on his own. He is entrusted with the care of a certain queen.

Let's run around the vast nature with "Pokemon Ride."

Some special Pokémon recognize the hero and lend him their strength. The "Kaminagi's Flute," which the hero receives during his adventures, is a mysterious flute that has been passed down from generation to generation in the Jade Region. Whenever he blows it, a special Pokémon appears and carries the hero.
This "Pokémon Ride" allows the hero to explore the Jade Region with greater freedom, running on the ground, or extending his range of activities to the water or even in the air.
