Resident Evil 4," released in 2005 and one of the most popular and persistent fans of the top survival horror "Resident Evil" series, will be released on October 21, 2021 as a VR title exclusively for Oculus Quest 2. In this game, which will be released just in time for the Halloween season, players will take on the role of Agent Leon S. Kennedy ("Leon"), the President's direct report, and face horrors like never before.

The Oculus Quest 2 version is packed with new challenges to enhance the immersive experience of virtual reality. Players move using analog sticks, but Armature Studio designed and added rigs (joints) throughout Leon's upper body to combine his movements with those of his hands coming from the Oculus Touch controller. Weapons and items were also redesigned as physical objects, allowing players to pick them up and manipulate them.

These innovations allow the player to retrieve the weapon Leon (the player) is wearing, rather than having to manipulate the menu screen to change weapons. In addition, two play styles are available: standing play OR sitting play, and a variety of other options can be selected for comfortable play.
In addition, stage select and teleportation are supported. The game world can be explored as you wish.
