The first episode of the TV anime "Blue Period," which will start airing on October 1, 2021, on Fridays at 25:25 on the "Super Anime-ism" slot of the MBS/TBS network of 28 stations nationwide, has been released with a synopsis and advance cuts.

Blue Period" is a manga serialized by Tsubasa Yamaguchi in Kodansha's "Monthly Afternoon" and won the Manga Grand Prize 2020 in 2020. The TV anime will begin airing on October 1, 2021, on Fridays at 25:25 on the "Super Anime-ism" slot on the MBS/TBS network of 28 stations nationwide. The broadcast will begin at 25:25 on Fridays.

Episode 1 "Awakening to the Pleasure of Drawing Pictures

＜Synopsis: "I awakened to the pleasure of painting.
A high school student with excellent grades by day, Yaguchi Hachitaro is a yankee who goes out with his friends night after night on the streets of Shibuya. Yaguchi Hachitora was feeling a sense of emptiness in his daily life. A painting he encountered in the art club room brought Hachitaro the excitement of drawing. When he was able to express the "blue" of Shibuya, which he had always felt, he felt alive for the first time. "Do you want to go to the University of the Arts?" Hachitora's path was wide open before his eyes.
