An interview with the original author, Ryuunishi 07, and comments from the cast have been released from the TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Graduation," which reached its final episode yesterday on TOKYO MX. In addition, a commercial for the "Watanagashi Festival" and scene cuts from the final episode have also arrived.

Higurashi When They Cry" was released as a doujinshi game in 2002 and became popular for its interesting puzzle-solving and bizarre story depicting "kizuna" (bonds), and was adapted into a TV anime in 2006. In October 2020, it was adapted into a completely new anime "Higurashi When They Cry," which was even more shocking than the previous version and made a splash on social networking sites.

The final episode of the TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Graduation", the answer to the "Kyo" question, will finally be broadcast on September 30, 2021 (Thursday). The cast members who have been in charge of the anime for 15 years, including Soichiro Hoshi as Keiichi Maehara, Yui Horie as Hanyu, and Katsutoshi Houkame as Teppei Hojo, have all made comments in commemoration of the end of the broadcast.

The story of "Higurashi" (the festival music version), which we arrived at the end of a long, long journey, and this new "Higurashi", what kind of tragedy will happen again, and will everyone be happy? It was a kyo/graduation that started with such anxieties and expectations.
