Hiro Shimono, Tomokazu Seki, and others appear in original comic video for robot event "World Robot Summit

Fukushima Gaina Gaina produced and released an "original comic animation" in collaboration with the "Rescue Academia" anime project as PR for the "World Robot Summit," a robot event sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

The World Robot Summit (WRS) is an international robotics competition that aims to realize a world where humans and robots coexist and collaborate under the theme of "Robotics for Hapinness.
The WRS consists of the World Robot Challenge (WRC), a competition with four categories, and the World Robot Expo (WRE), an exhibition of robots and related products from a wide range of fields.
At the Aichi 2021 competition held from September 9 (Thu.) to 12 (Sun.), competitions in three categories (manufacturing, service, and junior) were held, and many teams (including online) from Japan and abroad participated. The competitions can be watched from the "WRS VIRTUAL" website.

From October 8 (Fri.) to 10 (Sun.), 2021, "World Robot Summit 2020 Fukushima" will be held, with one category of competitions (infrastructure and disaster response), as well as "ROBOICHI," a parallel event featuring exhibitions related to Fukushima Prefecture's robot industry and various stage events. Tomokazu Seki, who plays the role of Pat, the avatar robot, and Moe Toyoda, who plays the role of Machi Mizuren, are scheduled to appear at the WRS Fukushima competition stage event to be held on October 10, 2021 (Sunday) at 12:00 pm for a paying audience (free of charge).

Unlike radio readings, "comic videos" have pictures, but unlike animated cartoons, there are no pictures, only still pictures.
