Announced the collaboration illustration of TV anime "Platinum End" and "Hikaru no Go"! Original manga and Ken Obata's masterpiece co-stars!

Platina End," which will begin airing on TBS and other networks on October 7, 2021 (Thursday), and "Hikaru no Go," a manga also based on the original by Ken Obata, have revealed a collaboration illustration.

Platina End" is a collaboration illustration of "Hikaru no Go" by Tsugumi Ohba, creator of "DEATH NOTE" and "Bakuman. (original story) and Ken Obata (manga), the powerful tag team that created "DEATH NOTE" and "Bakuman", has been serializing the hit manga in "JUMP SQ." since November 2015. It is a dark story that revolves around the keywords "angel," "god," "wings," and "arrow.

Hikaru no Go", also by Takeshi Obata, is a manga depicting the world of Go that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1999. The TV animation, including the special "The Road to the Hokuto Cup," has been broadcast since 2001, and this year marks the 20th anniversary.

In commemoration of the broadcast of the TV anime "Platinum End" and the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of the TV anime "Hikaru no Go," the collaboration illustrations have been released. The illustration depicts Mirai Kakehashi and Hikaru Shindo, the main characters of both works, celebrating each other.

The language of flowers in the white rose held by Asuka is "new beginnings" and "deep respect. Hikaru is holding a bouquet of tulips and chrysanthemums, which carry the language of blessings. And behind them are Nasse, a special angel, and Fujiwara no Sai, the spirit of a prodigy professional player. It is also important to note that the two characters, who are "attached" to each other, are looking at each other curiously.
