On September 30, an advance preview of the first episode of the anime was held. Guests included Gen Sato, who plays the main character Amou Shiiba, Natsumi Fujiwara, who plays Guy, Ryotaro Suga of the comedian Panther, and cosplayer Moe Iori, who discussed their expectations for the "Boundary War Machine" anime.
The following is a report on the event.

Ms. Suga and Ms. Iori appeared in costumes inspired by their characters! After watching the first episode, "I think I'm going to get hooked on the relationship between humans and AI.

After the preview of the first episode, Mr. Sato and Mr. Fujiwara, wearing original "Borderlands War Machine" T-shirts, were followed by Panther's Mr. Suga and cosplayer Moe Iori on stage. Ms. Iori appeared in an outfit based on the character Shishibe Zion, "I tried to make an image of Zion with pink shoes, black skinny pants, a purple top and a white jacket! and explained today's fashion.

The hand-drawn animation, not CG, and the passionate performances by the voice actors were wonderful, and the story is going to get more epic.
Mr. Suga's "swamp point" was "the AI swamp. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the friendship between Guy, the AI, and Amou, the main character, will develop and how their relationship will evolve. I wonder if there will be such a development sooner or later? I think I'm going to be addicted to the relationship between the two of them.

Mr. Sato said that the interaction between the two is an important point, and Mr. Fujiwara was pleased that the audience paid attention to the details.

Sato and Fujiwara also said that they were pleased with the attention to detail, and that they hope to make a great team like Amou and Guy! The detailed and careful depiction of the activation of the Meiress Kembu.

Iori said, "The drawings are wonderful. I didn't know it was possible to create such beautiful hand-drawn animation. Like Mr. Suga, I like the interaction between the main character and AI. The main character, Amou, who is cold to the current world, and the passionate AI, Guy. The characters we usually imagine as human and AI are depicted in reverse. Gai was very happy when he was picked up, and I like his character," she said excitedly.
Iori commented that the keyword "retinal projection" in the first episode is a "mecha moe" point. I thought it was wonderful that the background moved to match Amou's point of view," he said. And the description of the activation of the Meireleskembe was very detailed. Sato commented.

Mr. Sato said, "To create the role of Amou, who pilots Meireleskembu, I stuck to the front of the train and looked out the window from the driver's point of view, and I referred to videos of the pilot and driver's point of view. I also paid attention to the realistic dialogue in the battle scenes," he said.

Iori sharply pointed out the plastic model of the "Boundary War Machine." He was very excited about the secret of Meireles Kembu!

In a video message, Nobuyoshi Habara, the director of the movie, said, "The cool figure depicted on the screen is reproduced directly in the plastic model. I would like to encourage people who are new to plastic models to try building them. The high degree of synchronization and reproducibility between the anime and the plastic models is superb. Please look forward to it." He talked about the highlights of the anime.
Mr. Suga said, "The joints move so much. I myself can no longer move my shoulders, so I envy them a lot. I'm very jealous because I myself can no longer move my shoulders," said Mr. Suga.

Iori said, "This Meiress Kembu is reverse-jointed. The center of gravity is on the bottom, so when I saw the design, I knew immediately that it was a combat-type robot. I wondered how compact it would be based on the scene in the first episode where Meireleskembu gets up, and when I folded it up, it became small enough to fit in the back of a truck (a transportation vehicle that is also released as a plastic model)," pointed out Mr. Masakazu Ogawa, President of SUNRISE BEYOND, "Actually, in the anime There is also a scene in the anime where Meires Kembu is transported on a truck. ......" He disclosed a few spoilers for future developments and said, "Oh, I knew it! I knew it! Iori-san was also excited. Iori's sharp remarks got the audience excited.

Mr. Suga's grand plan was revealed during the Q&A session. I want to eliminate "●●" from the world.

When asked what he would like to do if he met an AI like Guy, Sato answered, "I would like to travel with him. I would like to travel with Guy. I think I would be excited to be with the AI because it would give me advice like, "This is a fun place! I would like to go to karaoke. Mr. Fujiwara said, "I want to go to karaoke. I want to go to karaoke. Fujiwara said, "I'd like to do karaoke.

Mr. Suga made the audience laugh by announcing his grand plan, "The only thing I want to do is to eliminate crying children from the world. Next up was Iori, a self-proclaimed "charging fetishist" who likes to see batteries and smartphones being charged. Citing the scene in the first episode where Guy was asking Amou to charge his phone, she commented, "I want to charge (AI) a lot, too. The audience voiced their surprise. Iori said, "I charge the staff's phones when they are at 50%. Fujiwara immediately asked, "Can I ask you to charge mine, too? Fujiwara-san asked, "Can I ask for mine, too?

In addition to TV broadcasts, "Boundary War Machine" is also available on YouTube and other video distribution services. I hope you will enjoy both services," said Sato. I think you will enjoy the gravity of the hand-drawn robots and the detailed sounds of the voice actors' realistic interactions and breathing," he said, teaching guests Suga and Iori how to enjoy the show.
