Hiroko Moriguchi, known as the "Gundam Goddess" for her many songs representing the "Gundam" series, including "Ai wo Hoshi e Ai wo Komete", the opening theme song for the TV animation "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam" and "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~", the theme song for the theater production "Mobile Suit Gundam F91". Hiroko Moriguchi, known as the "Gundam Goddess" for her many songs representing the "Gundam" series, including the theme song "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoho Hoho Hikaru Kaze no Naka~", has decided to collaborate with the "Gundam" series plastic model "Gunpla".

The three plastic models, "RX-78-2 Gundam," "Zeta Gundam," and "Gundam F91," which are the main characters in the works in which Ms. Moriguchi was involved as the theme song, were color coordinated by Ms. Moriguchi herself to create the "Ver. HIROKO MORIGUCHI".

The model that receives the most votes in the popularity contest held on the special website "#MORIGUCHI Gundam Model Contest" opened on October 4, 2021 (Monday) will be released as a HGUC 1/144 scale Gundam model kit. Anyone can cast their vote, and the deadline is October 17 (Sun.). The release date, sales method, package contents, and price will be announced at a later date.

In recent years, the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" series, themed "Gundam Song Cover Albums for Adults," has become a big hit, shipping over 200,000 copies in total, and winning the "Japan Record Award" planning prize. I still cannot forget the page in my junior high school graduation album on social conditions. I have sung the theme songs of the "Gundam" series for each generation from the age of 17 to 2025, and I never imagined that I would be in charge of color coordination for Gundam plastic models!
