Sora from "Kingdom Hearts" joins "Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL"! Finally, the last additional fighter!

Super Smash Bros." for Nintendo Switch will release its 11th paid additional content, "Sora," on October 19 (Tuesday).

Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL" is the latest title in the "Smash Bros." series, in which Mario, Pikachu, and other characters from Nintendo games appear. The game is the largest volume in Smash Bros. history, with the largest number of stages in the series and a variety of items that have increased in volume.

Sora, the main character from the "Kingdom Hearts" series and a kind-hearted boy who adventures in various Disney worlds, is the last fighter to join "Smash Bros! With a keyblade in his hand, he nimbly flies around the Smash Bros. world, making full use of his blows and magic.
He comes in a variety of colors, so you can choose the one you like best.

The Last Fighter Floats Brilliantly through the Skies

Sora is characterized by the blows and magic attacks he delivers with his keyblade, as well as his high mobility in the air! With a jump that excels in travel distance and dwell time, the fighter lightly flies around while unleashing attacks with his keyblade.
When an attack hits, a special star-shaped hit effect appears.

In addition to the weak attack, a triple combo attack is possible by repeatedly pressing or holding down the button for the strong horizontal attack, normal aerial attack, and front aerial attack. Hunt down opponents with combination attacks just like in the original.

Normal Special Move: Magic
Three types of magic attacks with the keyblade at the ready. The three attacks are switched in the following order: Faiga, which emits flames; Sandaga, which drops lightning bolts; and Blizzaga, which is an ice spell.
The currently set spell can be seen at the bottom of the screen.

Horizontal Special Move: Sonic Rave
The attacker rushes straight in the direction of the stick input!
Up to three attacks can be performed in total by either pressing the stick down additionally or by repeatedly pressing the Special Move button. When the button is pressed repeatedly, the enemy is automatically tracked and the attack power is increased.
This is an excellent tool that can be used in a variety of situations, such as pursuit, movement, and recovery.

■Upright Special Move: Area Sweep
A rotating attack in which the user rises while turning the keyblade.
In addition to its superior shooting power, it can be connected to the Sonic Rave, a horizontal special move, at the end of the attack! Combined with the Sonic Rave, it can recover even if it is swept far away.

Down Special Move: Counter
Counterattacks a direct attack by breaking the opponent's posture.
You can also parry flying props backwards, allowing you to surprise other fighters who are caught off guard.

Last trump card: Keyhole Seal.
A beam is fired from the keyblade to open a keyhole, trapping up to three opponents in the door and causing a large explosion! After the big explosion, if the accumulated damage exceeds 100%, the fighter can be shot down immediately.

The 11th additional content (662 yen including tax), which includes the new fighter Sora, the new stage "Hollow Bastion" and 9 additional songs, will be distributed on October 19, 2021 (Tuesday).
In addition to "Sora," "Fighter Pass Vol. 2" (3,300 yen including tax), which includes "Mien Mien," "Steve/Alex," "Sephiroth," "Homura/Hikari" and "Kazuya," is now available for a special price.
