Resident Evil 7: Resident Evil" sold more than 10 million copies worldwide! Major remodel with focus on horror

Capcom announced that its multi-platform Resident Evil7 Resident Evil has sold 10 million copies worldwide.

Released in January 2017, "Resident Evil7" is a title based on the main concept of the series' roots: fear. The game underwent a major model change focusing on horror, including a revolution in the game system from a traditional third-person perspective to a first-person perspective, in order to provide an immersive and terrifying experience, and was highly acclaimed by major review aggregation sites and other sources.


In recent years, while promoting digital sales through downloads, the company has been strengthening its appeal to a wider range of users through strategic pricing measures such as seasonal and event-based sales.
