We pick up a noteworthy work from among the titles that reached their final installments in the summer of 2021! The last installment of the series "Goddess Dormitory Matron," serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace We also introduce "Kanojo mo Kanojo" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine," "Kobayashi-sanchi no Maidragon S" serialized in "Monthly Action," "Shinigami Bo-chan to Kuro Maid" serialized in "Sunday Ueburi," four original manga titles, and the original short anime "Dinasou Biyori.

The matron of the Goddess Dormitory.

In this love comedy, an ubiquitous junior high school boy Takashi Nagumo becomes the matron of the Goddess Dormitory, a dormitory for female university students, and is at the mercy of his older sisters. The story is full of nostalgic situations that are better described as peachy happenings than lucky escapades. In particular, episode 9, in which their legs get entangled in a kotatsu, does not disappoint, with an unexpected situation occurring just as expected. There is no need to theorize that the closed space of the kotatsu is a metaphor for the goddess dormitory, but rather to surrender oneself to the dazzling world of sensuality.
The anime adaptation is even sexier than the original, with the characters' sexy parts hidden by a character named "Fuki Mamoru-kun. A modified version is broadcast on terrestrial television, while an uncensored version is broadcast on an anime channel, and a see-through version is available exclusively for distribution. While past titles have attempted to change the correction depending on the media, in the end, the correction was usually so small that nothing important could be seen, a specification that plays with people's minds. This time, however, a significant portion of the image is transparent, a truly unexpected situation here. This is perfect for the junior high school age anime fan.

Kanojo is also a girlfriend.

Naoya Mukai, an overly serious high school student, becomes the long-sought-after lover of his childhood friend Saki Saki, whom he has been courting for years. However, when his classmate Nagisa Mizuse unexpectedly confesses her feelings for him, he is unable to refuse and decides to embark on a two-timing relationship. Although the protagonist is a two-timing bastard by his own admission and that of others, Naoya's honesty is strangely less repulsive than others'. He begs for forgiveness from Saki and Nagisa for his two-timing, but he refrains from crossing the line in order to prioritize the relationship between the three, and his own way of making sense of the situation invites laughter. It is only natural for a hero to choose between the two when faced with a choice between two options, and the trolley problem is nothing more than the shallow wisdom of an ordinary man.
In the OP animation, Naoya has awkwardly fulfilled the conditions of a hero, and the triangular relationship between him and Saki and Nagisa is expressed by the equilateral triangles that are laid out like tiles in his background. There are other heroines in this work, and depending on how the triangle is cut, it could be either a square or a pentagon. It remains to be seen whether Naoya will be able to maintain his two-timing.

Maidragon S in Kobayashi-san's Family

This is the second season of the much-talked-about work featuring Kobayashi-san, who works day and night as an SE, her dragon Thor, who has become her personal maid, and the many different dragons that have come to the human world to join in the hijinks. Although at first glance it may seem like a comedy, the backbone of the dragons is complicated, with ties that extend back thousands of years, and from the first episode we can enjoy powerful battle scenes where new visitors bring trouble and threaten the peaceful town.
The young dragon Kanna takes a walk with Mr. Kobayashi in the B part of episode 10, but the small discoveries, such as discovering that manholes have different designs and saving a ladybug from being swept away by the rain, are depicted as invaluable. The credits include an illustrated mini-animation. With an illustration-style mini-animation in the credits provided, and a horoscope corner after the main feature, this is a film filled with fun in every detail.

Shinigami Boy and Black Maid

This is a love story about a noble boy who has a curse that causes the death of those he touches, and a maid, Alice, who knows this and yet seduces him at close range. Although contact is forbidden, they can touch each other without physical contact, and the film carefully depicts the moment when their shadows, created by the moonlight, overlap.
In the opening animation, the director's credits are displayed when the umbrellas held by the two men are placed together, which is also impressive. A sequel to this work has already been decided to be produced. It has been suggested that even if the boy's curse is lifted, the class difference between aristocrats and maids will separate the two, but how will it end?

Dinasou Biyori

A short animation in which three dinosaurs, a tyrannosaurus, a triceratops, and a stenonicosaurus, live together in a rented apartment called "Dyna-so-biyori. The dinosaurs, with a cute deformed touch, spend their loose days complaining about their part-time jobs, going camping, and so on. It seems a bit surrealistic everyday life, but there are also glimpses of something disturbing, such as Tyranno's bizarre fear of extinction by a falling meteorite, and Alamosaurus, who gets eaten every time he appears. ...... The psychedelic worldview of the music video (MV) by animation artist Mirai Mizue also leaves an unforgettable impact once seen.
The role of Tyrano is played by Yutaka Matsushige, who for some reason is associated with dinosaur and dragon animation. He has played many unique roles, including a gluttonous grocer and a security guard who used to be a sumo wrestler, and his gentle tone is convincing as the strongest carnivorous dinosaur. The role of Triceratops, who is a man of few words but whose every word carries weight, is played by actor Yoji Tanaka, while Eiji Koge of the comedy duo Baikingu plays Stenonicosaurus, who is concerned about his minor status compared to the other two dinosaurs.

(The dialogue between these unexpected characters is soothing.)
