Saint Seiya" 35th Anniversary Year Begins! Logo and visual silhouettes are released!
The anime "Saint Seiya," which began airing on October 11, 1986, will celebrate the 35th anniversary of its anime adaptation in 2021.
Saint Seiya is a very popular manga series written by Masami Kurumada that began serialization in 1985. The series gained popularity for its "cross" armor and stories based on Greek mythology. A new edition of "Saint Seiya Final Edition" is currently on sale in five volumes from Akita Shoten.
Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac" in full CG animation (available on NETFLIX) and a live-action Hollywood production of the film was recently announced. Today, October 11 (Monday), exactly 35 years after the broadcast, the 35th anniversary year of the "Saint Seiya" anime will begin.
To mark the occasion, a logo commemorating the 35th anniversary and a silhouette of the visual "Golden Saint" have been unveiled.
These pictures, drawn by Yoshitomo Himeno, will be gradually revealed in various places throughout the 35th anniversary. Expect more information in the future.
