TV anime "Mr. Furumi is a commie" airing every Wednesday on TV Tokyo and other stations. has revealed the synopsis and advance scene cuts of the second episode.

Furumi-san is a comic book author," which has sold more than 5.5 million copies. is a popular manga serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" by Tomohito Oda. It is a comedy in which Furumi Nitoshi, a beautiful girl but a first-year high school student with severe comusia, tries her best to "make 100 friends" as her goal.
The TV anime is directed by Ayumi Watanabe ("Koi wa Ameagari no Yoni" etc.), directed by Issei Kawagoe ("Bungo to Archemist - Judgment Gear" etc.), and produced by O-LM.

The synopsis and advance scene cuts for the second episode of the TV anime (Comic 02 - Comic 04), which will air on October 13 (Wed.), have been released.

The synopsis and preceding scene cuts are as follows.

Comic 02 "It's a childhood friend.
Tadano, who has been assigned to help Furumi make 100 friends, first talks to Yamai-san, a member of the "cool group" in his class, but he is crushed. Next, he tries to talk to his childhood friend "Nagana Nami," who is a monster of a communicator, but he is also turned down. He says that the popular Furumi-san can make friends easily even without his help, but what about Tadano-kun?

C omm 03 " I'm not a killer."
Mr. Furumi is going down to the school with his friend. However, the situation suddenly changes when Maa-kun and Shi-chan, her childhood friends, suddenly appear. When Maa-kun, who has a liking for the familiar, forcefully grabs the familiar's arm, Furumi is...!

Comm 04 " It's my first time to go out with you..."
After becoming friends with Mr. Furumi, Natsumi invites him to lunch. Tadano-kun offers help to Ms. Furumi, who is having a hard time keeping her head in the game. Hearing of Ms. Furumi's goal of "making 100 friends," Tadano gives her a challenge...
