At the end of this month, Rockstar Games will celebrate a special milestone 20 years since the first release of Grand Theft Auto III. The game transported players to the sprawling 3D metropolis of Liberty City, where they could experience an unprecedented level of freedom and immersion.
Grand Theft Auto III, along with its two equally popular sequels, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, broke new ground in the open world genre and made the "Grand Theft Auto" series a household name. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
