A rebroadcast of the TV anime "Poppetepic," which aired in 2018 and created a huge buzz, will begin on October 9, 2021 (Sat) on TOKYO MX and other stations. It has been announced that it will be a remixed version with a different cast than before, and is once again attracting a lot of attention.

The work is an original animation of "POPTEPIC" by Bukubu Ogasawara, which has been serialized on "Manga Life WIN," a four-panel web comic distribution site of Sumi Shobo, and is gaining popularity for its "chaotic" development. When the TV animation aired from January to March 2018, it attracted a great deal of attention for its innovative method of broadcasting the same images in Part A and Part B, but with different voice actors. It also won the Yahoo Search Awards 2018 Animation Category Award and the 13th Seiyu Awards Synergy Award.


The cast for the first episode of the re-broadcast remix version was a surprise appointment of a combination that had previously appeared in other episodes: Mami Koyama for Popuko (Part A), Kotono Mitsuishi for Pipimi (Part A), Ryusei Nakao for Popuko (Part B), and Norio Wakamoto for Pipimi (Part B).


The anime "POPTEPIC" makes the most of the cast's personalities. The remixed version was also full of ad-lib performances by each cast member, and the newly reborn "POPTEPIC" was a fascinating sight to behold. New developments are expected in episode 2 and beyond.
