TV anime "Tokyo Revengers" opening theme song "Cry Baby", special version sung by Mikey!

A special version of "Cry Baby" by Mikey aka Sano Manjiro (CV: Hayashi Isamu), the opening theme song for the hit TV anime "Tokyo Manji Revengers" Official Mustache Man-dism "Cry Baby" has been released.

Tokyo Manji Revengers" is a popular manga that began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in 2017 and has sold more than 40million copies. The TV anime was broadcast from April 2021, and a live-action movie was released in July.

Budo (Takemichi) Hanagaki, a no-good freelancer, learns that his only boyfriend from junior high school was killed by the "Tokyo Manjikai," the worst gang of villains in the world. One day, he is suddenly transported back in time to 12 years ago. In order to save his girlfriend and to change himself, he begins his revenge on his life.

Following the hit songs "Breathe Here" and "Tokyo Wonder," the special version sung by Mikey aka Sano Manjiro (CV: Hayashi Isamu) has been released. Following "Koko ni Breathe" and "Tokyo Wonder," this is the third installment of the highly popular character cover project. Cry Baby" is a song that reflects the world view of the work not only in the music but also in the lyrics. It will be interesting to see how Isamu Hayashi, who plays the role of Manjiro Sano, sings this song.

＜Introduction
Takemichi Hanagaki is a no-good freelancer who is at the bottom of his life. He learns that Hinata Tachibana, the only boyfriend he had in junior high school, has been killed by the Tokyo Manjikai, the worst gang of villains in the world. The day after learning of the incident, Takemichi is on a station platform when someone pushes him back and he falls to the tracks, preparing to die, but when he opens his eyes, he is somehow transported back in time to 12 years ago. He jumps back in time to his junior high school days, the peak of his life, and begins his revenge to save his girlfriend and change the person he had been running away from!

What is "Tokyo Manji Revengers"?
This is the latest masterpiece by Ken Wakui, the author of "Shinjuku Swan", which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" since 2017 and has sold over 40 million copies.
