After a dead heat, who won the role? Ecute Auditions for "Evil Girl Dropkick X"──A report on the spot with comments from the top winners!

The third season of the "Evil Girl Dropkick" TV anime series "Evil Girl Dropkick X" will be broadcast on TV in 2022. The "Ecute Audition" was held for the role of "Ecute," a vampire princess who appears in the series, and the finalists gathered for the final fan vote on October 2, 2021, at Tokyo Midtown.

The total number of applicants was 1,661, and 11 finalists with rich personalities were selected as the finalists.

The total number of votes cast was the final vote.

A total of 20545 votes were cast in the final round alone. A sales corner was set up at the venue to sell products with "Final Round Voting Vouchers" attached, making it impossible to take one's eyes off the event until the very last minute. The 11 members took the stage at the center of the venue, sent messages of thanks to their fans who had supported them up to this point, and waited for the time to cast their votes.

After a video of the auditions to date was shown, the top five vote-getters were finally announced in order. Here are the rankings of the winners, along with their comments.

Fifth place: Yuzu Shibata (759 votes) (as Jyakami-chan in the stage play "Jyakami-chan Dropkick")

No. 4: Miyu Nakagawa (1656 votes) (member of the idol group "Maneki Kecha")

Thanks to all of you, I was able to get 4th place!　Let's all eat the remaining curry ("Ecute Kirakira Spicy Curry" with "Final Judging Voting Ticket") (laughs)!

No. 3: Moa Tsukino (3379 votes) (member of the idol group "Masked Girls")

Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me!　I was supported by many people!　I think I had a wonderful encounter with everyone who got to know me and decided to support me through this audition!

I will do my best to become a voice actor and talent that can match the 3379 votes. I will also make my favorite "Evil God-chan" more exciting, so please continue to support me!

All of the finalists were really attractive and I am so glad that we became friends through collaborations and supporting each other's other auditions that we are taking. It is great to have irreplaceable friends who are working hard toward the same dream, transcending the boundaries between human and virtual!

I believe that VTuber content is still in its infancy. I would like to use this opportunity to make more people aware of the existence of VTubers and to connect VTubers with the world of anime.

Finally, I will do my best so that the fans who chose me, the Evil Gods ("Evil Gods Dropkick" fans), and everyone who fought the audition with me will say, "I'm glad Ecute is Asanoruri!

As a future development, the production of the song "Thank You Dropkick! and a full-size music video was also shown.

It was also announced that a live event "Sankyu Drop Kick in Sapporo" would be held on November 7, 2021 at "Hokkaido Adachi Gakuen Odori Park Hall" in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Aina Suzuki (Evil Girl), Himasa Omori (Yurine Hanazono), Yurie Kosakai (Pecola), Liko Sasaki (Popolon), and Marina Yamada (Pino) will be performing at this event.
