Scene Cutting

Pilot film "Shareadoru".
Shared by young producers from Toei Animation and Sotsu, "Shared by" is a fusion of two ideas selected from about 15 proposals.

The Toei Animation proposal is that an ordinary young man in the present day time jumps back in time to a world that is a fusion of Edo and the near future and forges his own destiny, while the Sotsu proposal is that what would happen if an idol went back in time to the Edo period? The pilot film "SHASHADORU" was produced by merging two independent projects, one proposed by Toei Animation and the other proposed by Sotsu, with the theme of "Edo x idol".

The pilot film "SHASHADORU" is just a "prototype" for a small start, but future development will be considered based on the reactions of animation fans and potential business partners to the concept and visual expression of the work.

Outline of the Project
The time is the Edo period, Kansei era.
What if we produced Edo girls (Edokko) with the knowledge of modern idols?
Toei Animation and Sotsu present... "Aidoru" activities that will prepare you for beheading!

Under the "Kansei Reforms" by Sadanobu Matsudaira, the old middle class, the common people's entertainment was strictly regulated.
Like a bird trapped in a cage called "the times," the daily life of the common people was not without inconvenience, but was somewhat stifling.

The girls live with their own problems.
Their feelings explode as "idols!
The key phrase is "This world is so shabby!

The highlight of the show is the gorgeous live performance scene.
Amidst the glittering lanterns, Edo girls dressed in Japanese-style idol costumes perform a live show that transcends the boundaries of existing idol anime.
The show will create the world of "NEO Edo" by combining "Kansei's Edo culture" and "2025's idol culture".

Future plans
The names of the main characters have yet to be decided, and the voice actors are still undecided.
We will be working together with the fans to create the film, while receiving their reactions to the setting and the pilot film.

Prior to the release of the film on YouTube (Toei Animation's official channel) on Monday, October 25, an official Twitter account (@sharedol) for "Sharedol" will be opened. Let's support the future development of the project by creating an account.

Official account: #sharedol
Recommended hashtags: "#Sharedol" and "#Shallakuze this world.

Until the release of the pilot film, we will introduce the worldview of "Sharedol" (historical background, Edo culture, etc.) and its characters. Freshly cut scenes from the pilot film will be generously thrown in.
If you follow along, you will surely look forward to watching the film even more.

Also, if you have any comments such as "I want this character to have this kind of name! I want the voice actor to voice this character! "What if we made it more like this? We are also looking for your reactions.
