The sushi chain Hamazushi Akihabara Ekimae Store has been in operation since Friday, October 15, 2012. It is located near the Electric Town exit of JR Akihabara Station. It is located on the 3rd floor of BiTO AKIBA PLAZA, next to the 7-Eleven Akihabara Electric Town Exit Store, on the former site of the izakaya "Toho-Mimonroku Akihabara Electric Town Exit Store.

Hamazushi is a sushi chain owned by Zensho Holdings, which operates various brands including the Sukiya beef bowl chain. The restaurant uses a complete ordering system in which ordered items are delivered directly to the customer's seat, and items ordered via a touch panel are served from two lanes, one above the other. To commemorate the opening, the restaurant is also running a campaign offering the "Uni Tsutsumi" for only 121 yen (tax included) (*ends as soon as it is gone). In addition, a coupon for a free plate of sushi from October 15 (Fri.) to October 28 (Thu.) is included in the restaurant's flyer.
