Switch/PS4/Steam "Super Robot Wars 30" Announces DLC 1! Sakura Wars" series will join the game!

On Friday, October 15, 2021, Namco Bandai Entertainment Inc. will release a new Super Robot Taisen 30 DLC, "Super Robot Taisen 30" DLC 1.

The "Super Robot Taisen" series is a simulation RPG in which robots from various animated series gather together to fight a common enemy. The series has released more than 90 titles to date, and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2021.

And the latest title, "Super Robot Taisen 30," celebrates the series' 30th anniversary and features new titles "Haikai-Oh - Gaogaigar vs. Better Man," "Yusha Keisatsu Jedeker," "Knights & Magic," "Mazinkaiser INFINITISM" and "SSSS.GRIDMAN. The world view has been redesigned so that even those who have never played the series before can enjoy it, and for the first time in the Super Robot Wars series for home use, the game features "AUTO BATTLE".

On October 15, 2021 (Friday), Namco Bandai Entertainment Inc. will release the Super Robot Taisen 30 DLC 1, which will add new characters to the Super Robot Taisen series.

In addition, a demo version of the game is available on Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store from today.

Here are the details of each machine.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack Beltochka Children (only the machine will be participating)
Hi-ν Gundam

A mobile suit for the Newtype developed by Anaheim Electronics. Equipped with a high-powered hyper mega bazooka launcher that can destroy a battleship with a single blow, and fin funnels that can be recharged via funnel pods in the backpack, it boasts high attack power.

Super Electromagnetic Machine VOLTES V (only the machine and pilot participate)
VOLTES V

A combined super-robot developed by Dr. Kentaro Tsuyoshi, a.k.a. La Gaulle, a Boazan alien who predicted the invasion of the earth by Boazan aliens, his wife, Dr. Mitsuyo Tsuyoshi, and Dr. Hamaguchi, by applying super-electromagnetic physics.
It is completed by combining five bolt machines: Bolt Cruiser, Bolt Bomber, Bolt Panzer, Bolt Frigate, and Bolt Lander. The keyword for the merging is "Let's Bolt In," and after forming a V-shaped formation (V-together), the machines merge.

The main pilot is Kenichi Tsuyoshi, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tsuyoshi. It has a variety of special moves, including the Tenku Sword (Tenku Sword V Slash), which generates a super-electromagnetic force field to break intermolecular bonds (there are several patterns of Tenku Sword slashes, including the Ichimonji Slash).
In response to the Boazan Imperial Army's attacks, it was equipped with various power-ups, including an ultra-magcon and a super-electromagnetic ball with a super-electromagnetic weighted cannon, and in the last episode, a warp navigation system was installed.

Mitsubu Type-2 (Sakura's machine)

Sakura Shinguji is riding on the Ryoji Armor used by the Imperial Guards.
It is mainly powered by the Reiko Engine, which amplifies the spiritual power of humans. It has been improved to make the most of its individual characteristics by feeding back the operational data accumulated by the KOUMU F and F2 of the BARI KAGETSUDAN.

Sakura, like her predecessors, wears a pink coloring and is armed with a sword. It is also characterized by its hakama-like armor covering the rear of its lower body.

Mitsubu Type 2 (Daijin Kiki)

This is a machine used by the Imperial Kagekidan and piloted by Ichiro Daijin, a member of the Ryoji Armor.
It is mainly powered by the Reiko Engine, which amplifies the spiritual power of humans. It has been improved to make the most of its individual characteristics by feeding back the operational data accumulated by the KOUMU F and F2 of the BARI KAGETSUDAN.

Like its predecessors, the Daishinki is white in color and armed with two large daggers.

Mitsutake F2 (Erika's machine)

The Ryoji Armor used by the Paris Kagekidan and piloted by Erika Fontaine.
The mechanical staffs of both the Paris Blitzkrieg Brigade and the Imperial Blitzkrieg Brigade cooperated in the development of this machine. It is not only more maneuverable and more powerful than the Koubu F on which it is based, but also more specialized in terms of its armament.

Erika's machine has a red coloring and is armed with the gatling arm "Zakariel. It also features pure white wings on its back and can fly for short periods of time.

STAR V (Rodeo Star)

STAR V is a Gemini Sunrise-boarded Ryoji Armor used by the Cordomo Ikkaigedan.
Its most distinctive feature is its transformation mechanism into a flying form, which allows for flexible city defense even in Cordyceps, a city with many high places. The transforming mechanism also makes the Gemini Sunrise larger and more powerful than the Kobu series.

The Gemini model has an orange-based coloring and is armed with a gun barrel sword.

STAR V (Fujiyama Master)

This is a machine used by the String Raising Band, and is piloted by Shinjiro Ookawa.
Its most distinctive feature is its transformation mechanism into a flying form, which allows for flexible city defense even in the city of Cordyceps, which has many high places. The transforming mechanism also makes it larger and more powerful than the Mitsutake series.

The Taiga machine has a white-based coloring and fights with two swords, a large dagger and a small dagger.

■Super Robot Taisen OG series (Ryutoraou/Torairyuou) (only the aircraft and pilot participate in the series)
Dragon and Tiger King

This super machine is completed when the Dragon King and Tiger King are combined, with the Dragon King machine on top and the Tiger King machine on the bottom.
Originally a semi-biological weapon created by the ancients with the Tiger Dragon King to fight demons and gods of destruction. It has an autonomous thought process, which can be called its soul, and has an intelligent personality, but when it is attacked by the "Gyakusaku" armor at the base of its throat, it becomes enraged and its attack power increases.
They can act alone, but unless they have a person (telekinetic) on board who is recognized by them as their pilot, their drive system, the "Five Elements Device," does not fully operate, and they do not display their true power.

Compared to its other form, the Tiger Dragon King, it excels in aerial and underwater combat, as well as in legal combat, and has tremendous offensive power. The machine itself is powered by a perpetual engine, but its attacks are fueled by water that has been dissolved from the ashes of burned amulets. Its armor is said to be made of amulet hardened by witchcraft, but it is not made of paper.

Tiger Dragon King

A super machine that is completed when the Tiger King machine is combined with the Tiger King machine in the upper part and the Dragon King machine in the lower part.
Compared to the Tiger Dragon King, the Tiger Dragon King has a rougher temperament, excels in close combat and fighting, and is skilled in handling weapons.
Although he cannot fly, he has excellent ground traveling ability, and he can also split himself into two bodies through the art of "shiki-shimi".
