The "Detective Conan Osechi" is the first Osechi packed with the charms of "Detective Conan," an authentic mystery manga that has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday since 1994 and has become very popular through its TV series and movie version. The osechi is fun to look at and delicious to eat to make the coming New Year even more exciting and enjoyable.

While respecting the traditional taste of Japanese Osechi, various innovations have been devised so that you can enjoy the encounters with the ingredients and the flavors as if you were guessing about what they are.

The second layer, a collection of Western flavors, features a total of 13 dishes that will surprise, discover, and thrill you with ingredients and colors that remind you of the Conan story.
The array of Western-style delicacies includes a lemon pie made by Ran for Shinichi, shrimp chili with a red color that reflects the image of Shuichi Akai, and steamed pork from Tottori Prefecture's Daisen Ham, the hometown of original author Gosho Aoyama, as well as terrine and roast beef, all dishes that evoke the story of Conan. A crab placed in the center also adds a touch of glamour.
Just as Conan solves mysteries, it is fun to try to guess the encounter between the ingredients and the characters and their stories.

Ojyu

The "Detective Conan Osechi" begins with a warning letter from Kid the Phantom Thief inviting you into the story. The lid of the two-tiered Ojyu has an original design featuring Conan, Ran Mouri, Ai Haibara, Shuichi Akai, and Toru Amuro. A somewhat mysterious atmosphere is created by matching the character illustrations with traditional Japanese patterns in subdued colors.

■Furoshiki

The furoshiki wrapping cloth used to wrap the Ojyu has an all-over pattern of character icons and New Year's motifs lined up on a calm navy blue background. Conan's bow-tie shaped transformer placed at the corner of the wrapping cloth stands out and accentuates the design when wrapped.
The furoshiki is not wrapped with the Osechi, but is delivered as an attachment.

■Ceremony chopsticks, etc.

Chopsticks with an illustration of Conan are included in the set.
