TV anime "Asuka-chan no Sailor Fuku" announces 12 additional cast members at once! Cast comments have also arrived!

Twelve members of the cast of the TV anime "Asuki-chan no Sailor Suit," which will begin airing in January 2022, have been announced to play the roles of the main character, Asuki-koji's classmates. Comments from each cast member have also arrived.

As for "Asa-chan no Sailor Fuku," Hiroshi has been serializing the popular manga in Shueisha's "Tonari no Young Jump" since 2016. The slow and sparkling coming-of-age story of Asaekoji (Akebi Komochi) and her classmates in a prestigious girls' junior high school, depicted with a soft touch, has gained a large following among both men and women alike.

The comics have sold more than 600,000 copies in total. The latest 9th volume was released today, October 19, 2021 (Tue) at bookstores nationwide and online.

The TV anime will be produced by CloverWorks ("Shadow House", "Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Monster Front Babylonia", etc.). The director is Miyuki Kuroki ("THE iDOLM@STER SideM" director), character design is by Emi Kono ("THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS" design works), and the series composition and script are by Rino Yamazaki ("Darling in the Frankis" script).

The 12-member cast has now been announced to play the roles of the classmates of the main character, Asukouji (CV: Manatsu Murakami), in the TV anime "Asuka-chan no Sailor Suit," which is scheduled to start airing in January 2022.

In addition to Erika Kisaki (CV: Ten Amemiya), Toruko Usagi (CV: Akari Kito), and Tomono Furushiro (CV: Shion Wakayama), who were recently announced on October 1, these 12 classmates will meet Koji, and their stories will be woven with each other and with everyone else.
