Takumi Mano, a voice actor, teaches a class by himself!　Report on the special guest session of "Vanguard Play Class" held in Akihabara!

On October 9, 2021, a "Vanguard Play Class" was held at the "193 Akihabara" TCG shop in Akihabara, inviting voice actor Takumi Mano as a special guest. We will report on the event in this issue.

Card Fight! Vanguard" is a cross-media content provided by Bushiroad, and has been widely developed centering on trading card games and TV anime. Vanguard overDress Season 2" began airing on October 4, 2021, and this event was held as part of the "Vanguard overDress Caravan" to celebrate the anime broadcast.

Special decks distributed to classroom participants

Takumi Mano, a voice actor, appeared as a special guest at the "How to Play Class" held at the 193 Akihabara store. Mr. Mano plays the role of Tomogi Mimon in "Future Card God Buddyfight" and is the voice of the second generation Shindou in "Cardfight! Vanguard" and as Reine Misono in "Argonavis from BanG Dream!

Ms. Mano will be participating in the tutorial for the card game "Cardfight! Vanguard overDress," many visitors came to the duel space where the event was held. What surprised me was the high percentage of participants and spectators, more than half of whom were women. Judging from the goods they brought, it seems that many of them were fans of "Argonavis from BanG Dream!

However, the training session itself was surprisingly "serious," with Mr. Mano carefully explaining the rules while reading out the text in a picture-story show format. Players were given numbered decks for the workshop, which they flipped through as instructed to experience the dramatic battles of the "Vanguard" series. As one would expect from professional voice actors, the promised lines such as "You are feeble spirits who have landed on Planet Clay ......" were delivered with realism.

Stand up, Vanguard! Mr. Mano started the trial play by declaring, "Let's ride the card of XX. Ride! It was a luxurious time to experience the game with Mr. Mano's instruction, "Let's ride X card! This workshop was based on "Cardfight! Vanguard overDress," so new gimmicks such as "Specific Ride" and "Persona Ride" were also experienced. In the latter half of the workshop, the audience was excited to hear such flashy phrases as "I'm going to give 200 million power to Nirvana, the Tennrin Seiryuu". Fans who participated in the workshop also commented, "It was great to have Mr. Mano teach us up close," and "He taught us in an easy-to-understand manner, and it was a lot of fun.

After the workshop, Mr. Mano said, "This was my first time to give a workshop, so it was quite difficult to convey the appeal of Vanguard in an easy-to-understand way. But everyone joined in and shouted "Stand up, Vanguard! I was able to enjoy myself while doing it. I think "Vanguard" is fun to use the decks that your favorite characters use in the anime, and it's also fun to build your own deck while thinking about how you want it to work. I think it is a very attractive card game, including the thrill of the trigger check, so please enjoy it.

On October 17, 2021, a training session will be held at Card Labo AKIHABARA Gamers B1 store with Hideta Morishima as a special guest. The card shop in the "Cardfight! Vanguard", Mr. Morishima plays the role of Shin Nitta, the manager of the card store in the series.
