From Software announced that the release date of "ELDEN RING" for PS5/PS4/Xbox/Steam will be changed from January 21, 2022 to February 25, 2022. In addition, a network test will be conducted.

ELDEN RING" is an action RPG jointly developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware, who also worked together on the "DARK SOULS" series, and will offer an overwhelming experience with the largest game volume in FromSoftware's history. The game will be released on January 21, 2022.

This title has been under development with the goal of a January 21, 2022 (Friday) release date, but the game's volume and freedom of attack have exceeded expectations, and it was decided that the time for final adjustments needed to be extended. In addition, a network test will be conducted from Friday, November 12 to Monday, November 15. Participants are now being recruited.

The network test is a verification test in which users are asked to play the game as advance testers prior to the official service launch. The network test is a large-scale network load test to verify various technologies of the online system.
