Lupin III" is an action anime written by Monkey Punch, featuring Lupin III, the grandson of the world's greatest thief Arsene Lupin, his friends including Daisuke Dimeji, Gomon Ishikawa, and Fujiko Mine, and unique characters including his old enemy, Inspector Zenigata.

Story
Lupin sneaks into a party to find out the sender of a fake advance notice, and gets into a big fight with Inspector Zenigata, who is waiting for him. After a fierce battle, Inspector Zenigata finally corners Lupin. However, just as he is about to take the next step, he is hit by a bullet fired by someone else. The gun used is a Walther P38, Lupin's former favorite, and Lupin learns from the tattoo on the gunman's hand that he is a member of the Tarantula assassination group, and sets off for the Tarantula headquarters to settle the score. ......

This was your very first work, wasn't it? At that time, the pace was once a year, and I just thought, let me redo it a little bit.)
Because back then, I didn't know how to do it in the first place. I looked to the side and saw Mr. Goro Naya and Mr. Kiyoshi Kobayashi standing up and talking, and I thought, "What should I do? I have never seen Yasuo Yamada doing that. If I had seen Mr. Yamada in the past and knew how he talked like this, I would have been able to do it... but anyway, I am so busy talking that in that sense I am not nervous, or I don't have time to spare. It was like playing high school baseball and suddenly being asked to take the mound for the big leagues and guard Otani.

At that time, before recording, I became Yamada-san, and then Yamada-san became Lupin, and that's how I was doing it. There was no such thing as myself; I had to become Mr. Yamada before I could do it.
In fact, even now, every week during postrecording, before I leave home, I look at a compilation of famous scenes from "Karijo" and put in the "Yamada-san sound. I think the voice actors are at their most polished at this time, and the film is like Lupin the Third in every way.

I was born on March 3, 1933, and I will be 33 years old on March 3, 1991, and 63 this year, March 3, 2021, so I have always been associated with the number 3... So, Lupin the Third. The great thing about "Lupin the Third" is that various creators can express their own "Lupin" with the subject "Lupin. This work was also a mass of ideas led by the director and writers.
　TV SPs and theater movies tend to be "I want to make it a grand story" and "I want to steal something big," but in this film, from the very beginning of the project, I wondered what the "most important thing" was. I remember that, from the very beginning of the project, we thought about "what is the most important thing" and decided to come up with something with the Walther P38.

At that time, I think Mr. Kurita was participating in the project as a "pinch hitter" for the late Yasuo Yamada. When Mr. Yamada was still alive, Mr. Kurita, who was a close friend of Mr. Yamada, jokingly blew into his answering machine with a Lupin imitation. There is a backstory that Mr. Yamada himself "appointed" you in a fashionable manner, saying, "After me, you must be Kuri-chan. Not only for this film, but any change in the cast puts the entire staff under tremendous pressure. In such a situation, Mr. Kurita, who was working on his third TVSP, studied hard and worked hard on this film as well. I bow down to him.

Lupin the Third stole part of the program logo from a popular program... and hijacked Nittele's official website!

Yesterday morning, October 21, NTV's official Twitter page was introduced with a "criminal threat" from Lupin the Third. Then, starting this morning, part of the program logos of 12 popular programs on NTV were stolen and combined into the message "NEW Lupin the Third: Watch Tenet" on the top page of Nittele's official website.

The message was accompanied by the words "I stole it from NTV" along with the "Gokuro-san mark" familiar to Lupin fans, clearly indicating that the crime was committed by Lupin III.
