A collaboration visual of "Orient" and "Magi" drawn by Shinobu Otaka, the original author, has been released as a special Halloween project from the TV anime "Orient," which will start airing in January 2022.

The manga "Orient" serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is the latest work by Shinobu Otaka, the author of "Magi" and "Sumomo Momo Momo: The Strongest Yome on Earth," and is currently in its 13th volume.
It has been 150 years since a "demon god" suddenly appeared in Japan during the Warring States period and seized control of the world, and only the "samurai band" continues to fight against his domination. The story is about two young boys, Musashi and Kojiro, who have longed to become warriors, vow to form the "strongest warrior group" and take on the challenge of exterminating demons. In addition to the royal shonen manga elements of a dream sworn to by a friend and battles with overwhelmingly powerful demons, the story also features appealing characters such as the main character Musashi, who has life-sized conflicts with his surroundings, and has won the sympathy of viewers.

The TV anime will be broadcast in January 2022 on TV Tokyo, AT-X, and other TV stations. It has been announced that Yuma Uchida will play the main character Musashi and Souma Saito will play his best friend Kojiro Kanemaki, and the popular cast members are attracting attention as hot buddies.
