Daitetsujin 17" is a Toei special effects work based on Shotaro Ishinomori's original story that was broadcast on TBS from March to November 1977.
The main character, Saburo Minami, stands up against the Brain, an electronic brain that has turned against mankind, together with One Seven and the Red Muffler Squad.
One-Seven transforms into a fortress type and a flying type during the film. One-Eight, a sibling robot who later becomes an ally, makes an appearance.

The 101st figure in the "Soul of Chogokin" series, "DELUXE Chogokin Daitetsujin 17" released in 1977, will be remade after 45 years.

The "Graviton Unit" in the abdomen, an original gimmick reminiscent of Chogokin, will also be reproduced, and this product can be fitted into the abdomen to play sounds such as eye luminescence and mechanical sounds.
