TV anime "Dolls Frontline" to start airing in January 2022! New PV and additional cast members including Mikako Komatsu and Nao Higashiyama announced!

The latest PV, key visuals, and additional cast information for "Dolls Frontline," which has been announced as a TV anime adaptation, have arrived.

This anime is based on the strategic simulation game "Dolls Frontline" that is currently being developed around the world. Set in a world ravaged by World War III, it depicts the battles of "tactical dolls" who protect mankind and the huge mystery lurking behind the war.
The anime adaptation was announced in January 2021 as a joint project between China's SUNBORN Network, the game's developer/operator, and Warner Bros.

The TV anime will be distributed worldwide and broadcast in Japan from January 2022. The second key visual and second PV focusing on the story, as well as additional cast members including Mikako Komatsu and Nao Higashiyama, and the theme song information have been released.

In the PV, the anime images of the newly announced Jeanciane (CV. Mikako Komatsu) and Carina (CV. Nao Higashiyama) are unveiled for the first time. The character voices can be heard immediately.

In addition to the four members of the AR platoon, the key visual depicts the new commander, Janciane, from the private military company "Griffin & Krueger," the rear staff, Karina, and the five tactical puppets of the "Tekkoukouzou": Agent, Scarecrow and Expulsioner.

Additional cast announced! Comments from Mikako Komatsu and Nao Higashiyama have also arrived!

Mikako Komatsu will play the role of Janciane, Nao Higashiyama will play Carina, Hitomi Namatame will play the agent, Kaya Okuno will play Scarecrow, Shizuka Ito will play the executioner, and Akio Otsuka will play Krueger!

A young rookie commander assigned to the frontline command of the private military company "Griffin. Although she is inexperienced, she is highly capable of assessing situations on the battlefield and is trusted by the tactical dolls.
He himself cares for the tactical dolls and will not give them reckless instructions that could result in their total loss during a mission.

I had the impression that Jean-Chiane was very fearless in the scene where she first appeared,
I felt that she is a calm person with a passionate heart.

Kalina <CV. Nao Higashiyama>.
She is a rear staff member of the front headquarters of the private military company "Griffin," and her main mission is to procure supplies. However, due to a chronic shortage of personnel, she also performs miscellaneous tasks and secretarial duties to support Janciane.
She is also a bit gruff and money-conscious.

I have known "Dolls Frontline" for a long time, but I felt that this work was the most hardcore and stylish work I have ever seen. From the moment the opening music starts playing, I was drawn into the world of this work. I hope that you will enjoy watching the lovely yet professional appearance of the tactical dolls!

Q2: What is your impression of the character and your enthusiasm for the role?
Karina is an excellent support for Janciane. Even in a tension-filled work environment, she still has a light-hearted and humorous atmosphere. However, there is something surprisingly colorful about the life and death of ...... tactical dolls. Even though I knew in my head that this was the standard in this world, I had a hard time putting it into the play. It was interesting to see the different positions of the characters, and I could feel the depth of the Dolflo world during the recording sessions.

<Story
In the year 2045, the earth has been contaminated by the Corruptus Liquid.
The Third World War erupts, involving the entire world, as mankind struggles over its most primitive needs, such as shelter and food.

While civilization was on the verge of extinction, the war and the accompanying shortage of labor encouraged the advancement of machine technology, resulting in the creation of "dolls" that imitated human beings.
