The key visual for "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie," which will be released in theaters nationwide on December 24, 2021 (Friday), has finally been unveiled.

The popular comic "Jujutsu Kaisen" (written by Akutomi Shimoda) is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and has sold more than 55 million copies in total. The TV anime series based on the manga began airing on October 2, 2020, and has earned the highest viewer rating in the MBS/TBS late-night anime slot in history.
The first "Jujutsu Kaisen" movie, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie," will be released on December 24 (Fri.), an important date for fans.

So far, visuals of the main characters Yuta Otokotsu, Maki Zenin, Sine Gumaki, Panda, Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer, and Suguru Natsuyui, the "worst curse master" have been unveiled. The film has been attracting a lot of attention since it was announced that Emi Ogata will play the role of Otokotsuke, and Kana Hanazawa will play the role of Satoka Prayer, a childhood friend of Otokotsuke who is turned into a curse.

And now, the key visual for the film has finally been completed.

The key visual depicts the battle between the spellcasters, who are mainly from a high school of witchcraft, and Jie Natsuyasu, the worst of all the spellcasters who make their living by killing spells.

The powerful visual depicts all the characters: Otokotsu with sword at the ready and special super curse spirit Rika in tow; Maki, Thorn, and Panda in battle stance; Gojo with one eye exposed from the white bandages covering both eyes, indicating the start of battle; and Natsuyui with one eye glowing red while radiating an ominous aura.

Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga work by Akutomi Shimoji, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump".
