Legendary "SHAMAN KING" episode "Osorezan Le Voile" to air on November 4 (Thursday)! Trailer, character, and advance screening information will be released!

Osorezan Le Voile Arc" will start on November 4 (Thu) in the TV anime "SHAMAN KING" currently airing. A preview video and information on the advance screening were released.

Based on Hiroyuki Takei's popular manga, "SHAMAN KING" will be adapted into a completely new TV anime in April 2021. Osorezan Le Voile" is one of the most popular episodes that depicts the encounter between Ip and Anna.

It depicts the encounter between Ip and Anna five years ago, when they were a little younger than now, and their first encounter and parting with Matamune, Ip's first Mochirei (spirit). Matamune, who was Ip King's beloved cat, wanders around the world for 1,000 years, and the episode vividly depicts her strong sense of regret and her sad feelings for Ip King.

The "Osorezan Le Voile Arc" will finally begin airing next week on November 4 (Thursday), and a key visual and trailer have just been released.

Visuals of new characters Matamune and Ip-O, and comments from Hideyuki Tanaka (Matamune) and Hiroki Nanami (Ip-O) have also arrived. In addition, applications for the advance screening started today.

The trailer begins with Ip's words, "The most important thing is the heart. Anna is shown on the oracle bell that Ip abandoned on the riverbank when he decided to withdraw from the shaman fight without consulting Anna. ...... "It's always been like that, since the first day you and I met 5 years ago..." he says, and then he goes back to the description of 5 years ago. The scene shifts to a depiction of five years ago with the words, "Five years ago, since the day you and I first met...".

The film depicts the unforgettable three days at Mount Osorezan between Ip, Anna, and Matamune.

Matamune is a cat spirit who has served the Asakura family for about 1,000 years. He is the first spirit that Ip has ever possessed, and goes with Ip to Osorezan (Mt. Osorezan), where his bride Anna is. He loves to read.

Q1: What is the appeal of "SHAMAN KING"?
I first encountered "SHAMAN KING" through Takei's manga "Butsu Zone.
I remember how excited I was to see the connection between the two works when they were serialized.
The main character, Ip Asakura, is cool! Usually, she seems to be a bit of a power-loser, but when she decides to do something, she decides to do it.
I was also impressed by Anna, the weasel, who is cool but sometimes shows her cuteness.
Everyone is attractive, including the enemy characters, and the bonds that are formed with friends during the battles are very touching.
I also watched the 2000 version of the anime, so when "Over Soul" was played in the new anime, I was very emo and involuntarily talked to the TV (lol).
I think it is a really wonderful work that has been loved by many people for a long time.

───Q2. How do you feel about playing the character?
I played the role of Ipoh Asakura, the ancestor of the Asakura family a thousand years ago.
One of the most heart-wrenching episodes in the original work is the past story of Ip and Anna.
In this episode, as the strongest Yin-Yang master, I played the role of Ip King Asakura as best I could under the direction of the director, hoping to express the atmosphere of being truly strong, the loneliness caused by being too strong, and the magnitude of Ip King Asakura's presence, even if only a little.
I was very happy to be able to play the role of Iho Asakura.
I am happy if the people who love this work can enjoy it.
