<Cast Comments
Q1: What was your impression of this work?
When I first read the work, I was just overwhelmed by its passion and read it in one sitting.
It is a work that emphasizes "thinking," so I think that not only those who like soccer, but also those who like other sports and those who are not involved in sports can relate to the story.

The passion that the players and coaches put into soccer.
The passion that the players and coaches put into soccer, and the careful depiction of their hearts and minds, which can be painful at times.
Both of these are the charm of Aoshi.
Ehime is also a really relaxing and wonderful place!
I am also looking forward to seeing how the anime will express the greatness and spirit that I sense in Mr. Kobayashi's drawings...!

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
I get the impression that Asato is a straight-forward guy!
He has a strong core of his own and cannot bend it even if it is a lie.
Even when he hits a wall, he never stops and keeps trying.
He is determined to reach his lofty goal of becoming a professional.
There is no such thing as a dexterous way to live, so I give it my all and hit the ground running, no matter what.

I will not be left behind by director Fukuda, Hana, and the many other people I will meet in Tokyo, and I will not be left behind by Reed, who is growing and developing as he goes along!

I will give it my all and play my part with my voice coming from my stomach!
