No. 1 was " KAGEKI SHOJO! " which depicts friendly competition among female students who aim for a singing troupe. which depicts friendly competition among female students aspiring to be in a revue troupe. The drama of girls who are passionate about the stage is sometimes fresh, sometimes painful, and sometimes bitter, and is the very essence of youth! The cast also showed strong acting skills. The cast members were all well known for their acting and singing abilities, and the senior students who debuted as professional singers were performed by veteran, good-looking female voice actors and former Takaragene actresses, while the accompaniment to the play was very well done.

The story ended with the 100th students' festival, but we are looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Second place went to " Sonny Boy. This work drew attention for its character designs by manga artist and illustrator Hisashi Eguchi and theme song by rock band Ginko BOYZ, but it turned out to be a very hard-core science fiction anime. The mysterious developments and thought-provoking character interactions unfolded every episode, and the viewer could not move from in front of the monitor for 30 minutes to avoid being swept away. ......

The result of this challenge to the current trend of "easy" and "watch while you watch" was to create an ardent fan base that was completely fascinated by this work, leading to its No. 2 ranking.

Third place went to " I'm Standing on a Million Lives: The Second Season," which had already been a popular title since its first season. This was already a popular title from the first season, and it was again a popular result this time.

It is also known as a "terrible" work in both good and bad ways. Especially episode 17, with its outrageous subtitle "Tsinko bing bing," had even the official tweeter on Twitter getting into the mood.

Of course, such a one-shot joke is not enough to win third place, and it is impossible to take one's eyes off the characters who are on a life-and-death mission within the rules set by the game master. The second season ended with the story still in progress. The future development of the story will be interesting to watch.

In a sense, the top three titles are not just for the users, but are also very appealing to the core (?). In this way, the top three titles are, in a sense, a lineup of core (?) works that do not flatter users.

Let's take a look at the top three.

No. 4, " The Detective is Already Dead. The first episode of "The Detective is Already Dead" was an hour-long special, and the action scenes were superbly drawn. The episode concerning the death of Siesta, an important character in the series, and the intertwining of the past and present over the memories of Siesta, make the story more than a simple one, and it is a very satisfying one to watch. After watching all the episodes, the viewers felt a sense of fulfillment.

No. 5 " Kobayashi-san-chi no Maidragon S " also follows the style of its predecessor, sometimes comedic, sometimes serious. The detailed drawings and direction, which only Kyoto Animation can provide, were also crisp and clear. The power of the action scenes is especially noteworthy. I am sure that I was not the only one who repeatedly checked the action scenes by frame by frame!

Also, the OP theme "Supreme of Love! sung by fhana was also a masterpiece.

Sixth place went to " Uramichi Ojisan. The original comic was already very popular on the Internet, but the anime version features a regular cast of popular mid-level voice actors, including Hiroshi Kamiya, Mamoru Miyano, Nana Mizuki, Yuichi Nakamura, and Tomokazu Sugita. Their tasteful performances were so good that many scenes had to be blown out of the water, even if you are not a fan of voice actors.

Personally, I can only imagine how much fun the post recording sessions must have been.

Seventh place went to " Tian Guan Shifu," based on a popular Chinese web novel. The animation was produced by the Chinese studio "E Joy Animation" and is a purely Chinese animation. Like "Uramichi Ojisan," this work also attracted attention for its star-studded cast.

This work shows various faces, including elements of martial arts popular in China, romance, and human drama. The style of this work, which cannot be seen in Japanese anime, may have struck a chord with anime fans who love new things.

Eighth place went to the sequel to the popular series , " Tensei Takera De Slyme Natta Koto: 2nd Term, Part 2. Part 1 also ranked 8th in the "2021 Winter Anime Popularity Poll," so in a sense, it can be said that the popularity of the series has remained stable.

Ninth place went to " Vanitas no Teki" (Memoirs of Vanitas). The latest work by Jun Mochizuki, the author of "PandoraHearts" and a full course of moe elements such as handsome men, steampunk, and vampires, it seems to have gained popularity among women.

In tenth place was " BLUE REFLECTION RAY/Mio. This work was based on a game just before its release, so many fans must have been paying attention to it. The beautiful visuals and the combination of the battle elements with the swinging emotions peculiar to adolescent girls also made it interesting in a sense.

Most of the works are also available on subscription services, so whether you missed them or want to watch them again, be sure to check out each title!
